It’s a lot easier to rationalize selling to your community by “othering” them. It’s a lot harder to do when it’s someone you saw as above “addiction” succumb to it. Someone with a job, a community, money, status and so on. That’s what Jaq is going through. Realizing that no one is above addiction and that by thinking otherwise she blinded herself to the reality of what she and the Summerhouse crew has been doing for years; poisoning their community.

I remember people calling Shelley a gold digger for not sticking around. I’m a man and I feel like a lot of guys (at least at this point) don’t realise that Deshaune made false promises and is exhibiting alarming behavior. It’s one thing to sell a few bags on the street, it’s another to come home filled with blood, having clearly killed someone in a way that didn’t seem planned (or else you would have done it cleanly) and not inform your partner about what just happened. He lost all his money and didn’t tell Shelley anything. That alone is a huge breach of trust in a relationship.

Dushane character to me has been a massive disappointment. In the first 2 seasons Dushane majority of the times always had his brain working but ever since he came back from Jamaica, it’s like they purposely made him into a idiot. The sugar and pebbles plot line was lackluster in my opinion so it’s a couple things I just don’t like what the show has done

I would understand if he had a legitimate business and he was going out drinking, gambling then lost the money but he’s drug dealer making enough money to give up 2mill, it is well known that there are a lot of issues that come with dealing that much drugs. And then all my money(15 million) disappears over night and you want me to sit you down calmly and explain that all the money was stolen I’m broke, give me some time to get myself together and figure out if I can at least get some of it back.
