I love the call back to the first day of class where Aizawa threatened to expel the worst student. At the end since no one was expelled Momo thought it must have just been a logical ruse. But finally several hundred chapters and like 100 episodes later, they learn that it wasn’t a ruse at all and he was prepared to expel all of them.

We've seen Bakugo cry 3 times. First time was after Deku beat him on their first training mission with the whole fake bomb thing. Momo calling him out on his fuck ups and seeing what Todoroki could do for the first time really got to him. Second time was when he fought Deku and finally poured his heart out to him about how he thought he was the reason All Might lost his powers. And 3rd time is right now.

Awesome finale on the Todoroki family drama. Even Dabi gets a nice ending because his family are gonna come around and spend time with however many days he has left of his life. And I do appreciate Natsuo cutting ties but I do believe he'll come around back to Enji eventually because they left on a somewhat good note and didnt argue. The Todoroki family is healing real nicely.

This isn’t a spoiler but Natsu doesn’t come around and it’s fine that he doesn’t. It’s actually healthy. Shows he has healthy boundaries and is doing what’s best for him. Endeavor did things to his family he can atone the rest of his life for and still never make up for it. So while some family member wants to have some semblance of a relationship with him Natsu never does and it’s important to see that.

It's actually 4 times but the difference between the first 3 (messing up on the second day of highschool, forcing himself to work with Deku in the final exams against All Might & blaming himself for All Might's fall) & the scene in the hospital is that this was the first time he cried openly & didn't suppress his tears with rage. From the moment he died to now, Bakugo has been the most honest & open he's ever been.

The todoroki family drama arc was utter perfection and the best arc of the story because it feels so real. They’re not one big happy family after all this but at least now these characters have closure and can move on with their lives while Endeavor suffers a fate legitimately worse than death. You can tell how invested Horikoshi was in writing it all throughout. Hearing Toya crying at the end when he’s near death and in excruciating pain got me emotional

Man, it sucks to be Dabi/Toya to be kept alive with all the damage already done to his body charred to a crisp, BUT he finally got his wish in being noticed by his family members, even if the rest of the damage was done… also nice to see him say Soba was his favorite food, thought that was a nice touch to make him relatable to Shoto… 😭😭 Also idk if you guys noticed this (and I could be wrong), but those 2 kids looked familiar from Season 6 where the sister wanted to be with her brother EVEN THOUGH the bro wanted to give the Endeavor bag to her, the damaged building was about to crush both of them…, but got saved by Ochaco & Tsuyu in time…! 😅 I love the moment where Bakugo’s parents starting with his dad took the initiative to read the room and nudged his mom to let Bakugo get his emotional moment with Midoriya, like damn I actually teared up when I saw that, idk why 😭😭😭 Also, I think that pink haired girl showed up around the time that Eraser Head & Present Mic went to visit Kurogiri at the hospital talking about how they were given “death” (aka expulsion, but then re-enrolled, WHICH IS CRAZY STILL BTW) 😅

Am I the only one that isn’t happy with Bakugo living? Like I’m happy he lives but from a narrative perspective I felt like him living is purely plot armor. Personally I think Bakugo should had died after his fight with All for One, like he was able to fight one last time but the amount of damage to his body should have killed him. A friend of mine even thought that a good killing point for Bakugo was when he first took damage against shigaraki when he got stabbed. It could had led to an interest turn for the story and could have been good motivation for the rest of the class. It could have even been poetic, that Bakugo final act was him having that natural feeling of running in and saving someone making him a true hero.

It’s a pattern the genre leans on heavily, and wishing for something different isn’t exactly ‘edgy.’ If anything, dismissing alternative interpretations as ‘edgy’ feels a bit… juvenile. To be fair, he also did stick around to fix the remains of the drama after Toya revealed himself to the world that he was alive and quickly gaslit Endeavor's transgressions for what he did back then. Natsu was at least living up to his bargain to stop Toya's sanity, and now that he's been contained, he's no longer not gonna need to uphold that since it's done...

There is not a to be fair that’s the bare minimum…without endeavors being abusive for years there is no Dabi. Only Touya would have existed. Also that’s not how you use gaslit unless you mean it in a fire up way and not gaslighting (psychological). I have no issue with Natsu’s temporary compromise he set a boundary and stuck with it since it was more for his family outside of endeavor. It was a limited time only deal.

I’m glad Endeavour gets started on his real penance. People talk about him fighting as if that’s him redeeming himself but his crimes have nothing to do with failing to be a hero. He robbed his wife of her sanity, the kids of their childhoods. If people who worked with him still wanna stand by him, he must have been a decent boss so good for them but I’m really glad Natsuo stood on business. If only because he actually can truly start healing now. And yeah, if a parent had terrorised my entire family for decades, I don’t care that they finally woke up to what they did, I’m keeping my distance until I’m sure it’s not just about the fact that they can’t have the social standing they once had and now that there’s no altar to sacrifice us on, we matter. For Dabi, I have very little sympathy for the adult he became so I’m not torn up about him suffering but I do think they should put him out of his misery. It feels cruel, especially because story wise it feels like it’s really more about endeavour getting to atone rather than about Dabi getting to offload his anger before dying. I don’t know, maybe if we gave more moments with him and Shoto it will feel more wholesome. But I lowkey don’t wanna see that because I am very over this family’s drama 😭

Late to it but Natsuo is actually the 3rd oldest being only older to Todoroki. Toya Aka Dabi is the oldest son; he stated this in season 6 when he revealed himself as the son to Endeavor. But I also liked that Natsuo was still on the same timing, he and Dabi were closest as kids, so it makes sense. Great tragic story with this family.

The point I was trying to make that I was only saying that Natsu, even if Endeavor was irredeemable, he was willing to fix the problems together as shown in Season 6. That's what I meant to say. Also I meant Toya blasted Endeavor's reputation as revenge since of course he can't just say he can be a hero without dredging up skeletons in his closet. THAT'S the point I was trying get across. Bro, I know that Natsu doesn't want to be associated with him because that's what he said AFTER he and the rest of the family members came to visit Endeavor during the aftermath of the 6th Season war...and I wouldn't blame Natsu for that either way.
