The Demon Blight of Sleep was tryna take Lupa out this episode xDDD but he pulled through! I figured there was more to Venetim lol I'm like how is he able to talk his way outta fighting every time, like Roshi said he got a silver tongue lol. And Poor Tatsuya! He's only here cus he got Isekai'd?! I wonder what he did though to get punished, you'd think if a goddess brought him here he'd have been contracted with her or something. I really hope the zombie state can be reversed for him. Been enjoying this show a lot!

Something about the promotional art being too sexualized cause it had Xylo grab the goddess by her hips while fighting or something. They then used it on TikTok to push an agenda that they and others shouldn't watch this show cause of it. Which is crazy to me cause the image wasnt even that bad, and this is coming from someone who avoids fan service or pedophile anime

You can think of most of these heroes as idiot savants. Most of them don't have superhuman capabilities like Tatsuya. They just excel in a single set of skills. Venetim is a super con artist. If not for his silver toungue, the penal hero unit would have even less logistical support and harsher mission requirements. He is not super intelligent though hence why he defers to Xylo who is the actual brains of the team.

I wanna point out one small but nice detail: When Xylo asked Teo to buy the 2 ice creams, he actually gave her 2 different tokens. I'm pretty sure each scrip color (their currency) has different values so he somehow signaled Teo to buy one for Kivia as well (since he noticed how enthusiastic she was talking about them despite saying she's saving money) and it wasn't just Teo that wanted to do it because she wouldn't have enough money for it to begin with if it wasn't the case.

The world building has been tops. So Tatsuya being revealed to have beein isekai'd and Venetim being a super conman that stumbled to a truth that got him in trouble. I like that this series has such inept characters, like you clearly know that "his Majesty" also has something big going on with him. And there's no doubt at this point, Kivia seems like she'll eventually either side with the Hero Unit, or will end up being on the team somehow, she's coming off as someone important in the story. The fact that we still got 2 more characters that we're yet to be introduce to, not included the dude we just got is crazy. But I'm glad we're revealing them one by one.

I don't think he signaled her to do it, he just knew if he gave her enough for 3 that it was her nature to get one for Kivia. That way he can make it look like it was Teo's idea and not him being nice.

Kind of figured Tatsuya was someone who was isekai'd into that world. Due to him being the only one with a Japanese style name (typical trope when it comes to names being unusual when going to a different world) I assumed he had to have been an other worlder. Which makes his fate ultimately even more tragic. He was likely "Sentenced to be Hero" upon being summoned. As in the beginning, they pointed out he was there for the longest. That shit sucks.

yeah, my guess is she will either help them lead a revolt once the Truth Venetim stumbled upon is discovered somehow (maybe them trying to hard to get Teoritta killed & getting involved so much it can be traced back to them) or she may be sentenced to become a hero herself for some bullshit reason once she doesn't go along with all the schemes & nonsensical orders anymore (like Xylo)

honestly? don't need every character to be thrown into the blender, but I'd rather prefer there to be no way to reverse it...keeps a tragic element to the story & increases the stakes for the hero characters (so even if they don't permanently DIE die, they lose something important on every revival) might just be me though, not a fan of "sunshine & rainbows" endings

Nah. The heroes are all still crazy, serious criminals, or both. His Majesty is crazy. There’s no denying that. I doubt he actually is of royal blood. And Venetim is still a conman that robbed countless people of their money. Xylo is the exception that proves the rule.

Minus the vocals, I absolutely agree. Also fun fact: In Season 1 of Mudhoku Tensei, there is a distinct opening for each region of the world that Rudeus finds himself in. At the end of part two, when Rudues returns to his village, a special version of the first opening plays with the subtitle ~Homecoming~. If you read the lyrics for each of the songs you can sorta understand what the region is like or what one who finds themselves there might think about. The opening for the Holy Continent of Millis includes themes of piety, grace, and being thankful (the music itself gives a pretty pronounced "church" atmosphere as well).

Ohhh, that's what it was. I was curious as to what triggered the music change in particular. The song for Millis definitely sounded churchy so I was thinking that the music change was related to them being in Millis, but never connected the dots that all the different openings were due to being in particular regions.

Venetim is the first obvious hint that the hero sentence is not what it seems. If they wanted him to not spread the information it made no sense to not just kill him regardless of what they did to keep him quiet as a hero.
