They already established during the first season. The original campaign lasted 10 years. So I'm not sure if this show it's the type of show that has filler, it's all the journey.

Thinking back on it, Stark's durability is no joke, even beyond what is shown on-screen. In Season 1, Eisen said that he didn't hit Stark because he was angry, but because he was afraid. Stark, who was only in his mid teens at the time took a full-on hit from a fearful Eisen and left with only a scar. Keep in mind Eisen was shown to be scared when he fought before in the party of heroes, but he managed to keep his composure and lock in. I don't think its crazy to say that Stark is just built like that frfr.

Himmel is so inspirational fr. Not just cuz of all the heroic shit he did, but also the fact that he put his romantic feelings on the back burner cuz he knew the yams was cooked from the beginning. 10 years without so much as a hint of reciprocation would have me feeling invalid asf, but ig its different when you know they process emotions different. I like to think that he made peace with not tasting the yams and was content showing love through other means. Truly the greatest of all time. There is a fan theory that the hero of the south might have had what it took to draw it, but he knew of his death ahead of time and didnt want to give the masses hope only to deprive them of it with his death. (Plus Himmel beating bro with a replica is just too much aura). Personally I think the sword will be reintroduced at a later time with Sein's old partner the one to draw it. Currently in their party they are missing the role that Himmel played. If Sein were to meet up with his friend and he ends up filling the shoes of Himmel it'd make sense imo for him to be able to draw the sword later on in the story. (Either that or it turns out Starks brother is still alive and is able to draw the sword. That mf was also raw)

But there is also the fact that originally Frieren wanted to recruit 2 warriors for the journey. Eisen if he would come, and 1 other. And yet after seeing Stark, she was okay with not having Eisen join, and didn't feel the need for a second after Stark joined.

Don't think that's possible. Every episode so far has adapted 2 chapters, with the exception of 2 episodes that adapted 3 chapters. The Golden Land arc is 28 chapters (4 will be covered this season). The movie would be like 4 hours or they would need to cut A LOT.
