She actually was real in the manga oda created chart of all the agents but she never had a real design . Mr 11 did have the same design with the ones on his face and the top hat.

So Mr 11 was in the anime and manga, whereas Miss Thursday was never shown in either. Oda drew a sketch of her specifically for the live action show to use and bring to life, otherwise she never existed before this

Luffy is made out of rubber he’ll snap plus with thermo dynamics him climbing by stretching would make him even colder he’d pass out mid climb and if he did he’d fall back wards and kill him and Nami. And the only reason he could stretch his neck is because Jami’s arms are wrapped around it so that part of his body is being kept extra warm. Either way climbing normally is the best way to conserve strength and make the whole thing

The Manga/Anime explains that Luffy couldn't just sling himself to the top of the mountain cause the sudden forces of doing so might worsen Nami's condition. Not sure why they didn't mention it here.

Well yes but ALSO in the live action realistically speaking he’s not going to be able to stretch and make it to the top. Not with a body made of rubber. It’s just would make sense scientifically. But yes Nami is fragile is the main reason. I just wanted to add to the realism to said conversation.

I def feel like it would be harder to scale the mountain if he stretched since he had Nami. It was already unpredictable, and it would've been more of a danger for her. I loved how they did the characters, even the changes are fun, it gives something new even for anime watchers. I was really having fun this season.

Roshi, any character you dont recognize or remember are most likely from those extra side manga bits that talk about that character once and only once. Mr 7 was someone you didnt know but he was mentioned in the manga. So live action gave him a whole scene with Zoro that was mentioned. Same with miss Thursday. She was just a sketch the mangaka made so the live action gave her a quick cameo.

I dunno why people need an explanation of why Luffy had to slow scale the mountain. Apply logic. A. Its already dangerous to scale the mountain, you think BLINDLY sling shooting up where you aren't sure what you're gonna grab is stable with the speed and force you're moving in is the genius move? B. Nami herself is ... DYING. its already bad enough she's in freezing weather. Pile on the trauma and shock her body will go through when being flung around. She'd die a lot sooner plus the bindings might give way and she'd fall off Luffy. C. Sanji is with them. "well he shouldn't have gone with them " well guess what, he did. So they're stuck with him. Period.

I like how in the anime luffy climb the mountain while also holding sanji by the jacket in his mouth and they obviously wouldn't be able to do that in live action but they did something similar when luffy slinged sanji up.

If it has a king, it's a kingdom.Real answer: the cookie sheet guy says they are what's left after Blackbeard took everything. Vivi says this kingdom used to not only be prosperous, but were on the cutting edge of medicine, and now they have nothing. Vivi doesn't seem to be the type to look down upon and insult a well-fed and functional village with a co-operative and harmonious community, so I can only assume she means "nothing" comparatively and therefore Drum Kingdom must have been very impressive at one point. Perhaps what we see is just a newly built outpost, and everything else was levelled, much like Buggy did to the captive audience island in season 1. Plus we see some very advanced medical equipment in the castle (which was closed off to Blackbeard) in steel scalpels, medical grade polymer cannula, drip bags, and knowledge of body temp to the decimal point. They even had a Gondola that functioned in snowy weather, implying steel cable and a powerful motor. I feel like Drum Kingdom was bigger and more advanced than Loguetown, but Blackbeard can do much more damage than Buggy can. IDK though, watch me type all that shit and get proven wrong somehow season 3 episode 1 or something

I haven't seen the anime, but I feel like the live action version is more goofy than what I hear happens in the anime. The human neck, jaw, and head have some of the strongest muscles and structure of the entire body. Humans have been using their heads and mouths to carry things forever. If live action Luffy can catch then lift then throw Sanji with his neck then he has the strength to carry him in his mouth normally, whilst not looking so goofy. Couldn't they have chosen to do his hands solidifying and slipping with all the blood instead if they wanted to carry more over?

Yea with the jacket I don’t they could have made that work visually and still make sense cause how sherra kept asking how nami was gonna stay on luffy back during the climb you would think wouldn’t he just fall out his jacket and with the bloody hands I also thought they were gonna do it the same in anime cause he slips once it shows his fingers and toes scraping and bleeding against the rock.

I'm finding the beauty of this series with every episode. They're able to pull from much later in the Manga and introduce it earlier in the show, so it can make more sense if they eventually get to it. They're already talking about the world government right now. They're also name-dropped Blackeard, The Fishman Queen Otohime, and The shichibukai. It gets my tingles to jingle every time.

Like I said last episode, it's up for all these Baroque Works. When I was watching the anime sporadically as a teenager, I didn't get fully into One Piece until the Skypiea arc, when Funimation took over because the 4Kids version was unwatchable. All the early Grand Line stuff is a blur to me either. I didn't watch it, or I don't remember it because a lot of it was 4Kids, and then I didn't know about the Funimation version until it came on TV. I didn't rewatch it until I got the internet in my bedroom. Then I started over anyway. I'm digressing; I don't care about these Baroque works, guys; they can suffer for all I care i didn't know they were so evil.

I probably should have made this comment earlier but I just realized this, I like Sanji more in this cuz he's not constantly swooning over women, he's actually pretty charming in this one. The same with Nami being less money grubbing and so far not violent against her crew and Usopp not constantly being scared and annoying but actually being pretty useful so far, especially the last episode. All in all they toned down the annoying aspects of everybody to a certain extent, even Luffy, even tho he's still pretty annoying still lol.
