Yeah but even then you can like a show to an extent and still give it a low rating. For example baki they had some funny moments watching it but overall roshi gave it a d tier because of how badly the adaptation was. And like you've said they also don't remember much from dorohedoro and roshi has said in the anime tier list that if an anime takes too long to get another season. To be point where they barely remember anything from the previous season they will not watch the new season.

No hate to these series but has anyone else sorta been getting tired of these fantasy anime? Idk seems like fantasy is just becoming to default for authors. Ive just noticed that like every season theres some new random fantasy anime with the same characters. I really do miss the variety in anime like we dont get many unique shows like deathnote, FLCL, or code geass that do something special anymore (imo). Seems like the production companies think about what types of series would keep their money the same. Shows like ranger reject or ninja kamui had the potential to be great but imo it was the bad production that ruined it. Even though ts not anime and its similar to MHA, Hero X is a good example it could have been a generic mha clone but the love and care put into the production made the show stand out and get its own identity.

Ive been watching anime for decades im talking about recently. And I obviously know fantasy is a new genre what im saying is there has been an obvious i flux of more fantasy/isekai anime coming out as if recent. What im daying is t even a new concept theres a reason most ppl are tired of isekais because they all have the same format somewhat and most of them also have a person from some world going into a fantasy setting. And when i say fantasy im referring to western dragons knights witches thats bs. And Isekai anime and that stuff was not as hot in the pre 2010 idk what you are on. It has not always been in abundance in anime as much as it is now theres a formula at this point.

I do like tanya though something like that is what i find interesting its isekai but actually different not just one element being special. Understandable but rezero is quite literally a different type of isekai. Another world yes but it isn’t the type where the mc gets incredibly strong and starts soloing the entire world he’s in. I only like a few isekais and that’s (Tensura,Sao, and rezero.) also I can under if you don’t like the weak mc troupe which his is physical compared to everyone else but at least he’s smart

Nothing much going on in the series. The episodes are mostly dialogue heavy. Unlike the first two seasons.. i checked 4th season and it’s just still about the dungeon. I’m not that hooked at all.
