Problem with BB and Daniel is that they were both in too deep with each other to the point they were making stupid decisions. Honestly I don’t give a damn what would happen to Daniel cause if you out here praising, working with and defending the mf that killed my family member and you know he been on that foul shit then that friendship is cooked. I'm so Disappointed in Daniel. Back in the first season, it seemed to me like he was standing 10 toes down with Wilson Fisk and knew exactly who he was and what he was getting himself into. Now it seems in this season and particularly in these last couple of episodes, he's some kid who was in over his head he ignored all the red flags waving in his face and happily voted for Trump. But when he got into office he realized oh wait, so he was a bad guy. Like someone in the manosphere. Season one. Daniel deserved his fate season 2 Daniel didn't. Make no mistake while I wanted B B to be the one to get killed. That's only for the purpose of the plot. She is on the right side of history, the press are the people who are asking the questions everyone else is afraid to ask. she's on the front lines doing the right thing, I just hate the way she moved. It was so sloppy and obvious that there should have been more consequences.

Daniel chose to work for Fisk and work with Buck. Fisk killed her uncle and is a giant criminal, BB was doing the right thing. Yeah maybe the leak was the thing that got Daniel, but working for Fisk that man was on borrowed time. At any point he could have walked away but he chose to work for the mob boss mayor. Yeah too many real life events, a lot of which this show is clearly inspired by, has happened for me to have any sympathy or even empathy for Daniel. A dick riding sycophant for a known and convicted violent criminal while willingly being blind, deaf, and dumb to all the horrible shit Trump- I mean Fisk does. Making a task force that violently rounds up any form of perceived dissent, even if those people are completely innocent? He sleeps. The girl he massively simps for is in trouble? Real shit. Now that something is happening TO HIM PERSONALLY he decides to wake up. Well too little, too late. He wanted to be on the "winning" side and instead of him going broke with higher gas prices and shit while still dick riding a dude who couldn't give less of a fuck about him, he won a bullet. But I'll give credit, he gave his life for someone who actually gave a fuck about making the world a better place. That's a good trade.

Imo Daniel's death was wasted on BB, I'm never going to deny her motivation for doing the things she did because I do think it was noble unlike Daniel but she was so focused on getting her revenge that she didn't think of the consequences of her actions. Buck knew Daniel knew about her actions because of the information that she was leaking from Daniel, she wasn't even thinking that anything would get traced back to him but because of that Daniel was under his radar and that put Daniel into a situation where he could either give her up or protect her. She's lucky Daniel was a halfway decent person.

That's pretty much how I feel, but they're kind of making a scene like he didn't know what either side was doing. He accused her of being behind the "city without fear" posts, but then he was shocked when she was revealed to actually be the one behind them. He doesn't know that Fisk was a murderer but was pissing his pants anytime Fisk was an inch away from his face; it's contradictory.

I pity Daniel because from the get-go he was a needy bootlicker for a fascist authoritarian in Fisk. He thought he could be all buddy buddy with a professional killer like Buck, who outright told him that he killed kids for king and country in Afghanistan; there was no way Buck was going to jeopardise his position over the likes of some toady, despite his fondness for him, not at that level, Fisk would crush him. Daniel was so out of his depth and the bill came due. To his credit though, he found the courage to do the right thing in the end, but he was already on the fast track to villainy and would only have to debase himself more and more to keep his head above water. Why he thought he would be spared this time, after all his past mistakes, with Fisk so raw after losing Vanessa and Buck laying out the cards, I guess that was just more of his naivete, and it cost him. I have nothing to say against BB; she's an excellent journalist with a vendetta against the people who murdered her uncle, Ben Ulric was a good man and reporter. She got lucky in finding a stooge like Danial, if anything she took too many half-measures - she should've been adamant at treating him like a mark, keeping her distance, but she just wasn't ruthless enough and that muddied things between her and him. But I don't blame her for using him, Daniel was running with wolves and deluded himself into thinking he was part of their pack. I hope BB goes onto become a de-facto ally of Matt And continues to honour Ben's legacy, speaking truth to power and keeping the people informed.

Fisk doesn't tolerate failure and is even more unhinged now without Venessa to reign him in. He would've been lucky to take the fall for Fisk when he inevitably returns to the criminal underworld as a patsy, but he was never cut out to be a mobster, as much as he idolised Fisk for being one.

The thing is people only think from their POV so when you have an opportunity to improve your life aka "sell your soul" almost everyone does it. But when that comes at the expense of the people close to you then it actually starts effecting your mindset. Honestly the only highlights of this season have been JJ and Bullseye and some other cool moments. The writing is so sub par compared to Netflix’s daredevil well I guess we’ll see how it finally ends soon.

Daniel knew he was dead and had no choice. If he ran buck kills him his mom and BB. By letting her go he gives BB at least a chance, and saves his mom. Now they have no reason to go after his mom. Daniel willingly walked down this path knowing what consequences was waiting for him if he step out of line, so his death is well deserved (YES) BB is great a character for trying to expose the truth about a evil master Mind Crime Boss who killed her uncle, also her death is well deserved too for being sloppy and careless for thinking the leaks won't lead back to her with No Repercussions (YES) This season was top tier, A1 Storytelling , A1 Choreography, A1 Acting, and I very much enjoyed it 10/10 definitely recommend (YES)

Daniel is the cause of his own death. He knew BB was leaking shit and kept giving it to her cuz he was in love. He got involved with Fisk and naively thought that he wasn’t going to ever have to get his hands dirty. Those are on him. Not on BB. BB acted like a reporter who mostly cares about getting the story. Thats what a reporter does. Daniel is the one that put himself in the position he found himself in.

She had a villain that they labeled a vigilante nearly take her life and it traumatized her. They spent two seasons showing you how she felt about “vigilantes”. Before she got attacked she didn’t like them and after she got attacked she descended further into hatred and unstableness. You can dislike the character but the switch up wasn’t crazy at all, they spent plenty of time building it.

I disagree. Season 2’s writing has been superb. It isn’t going to live up to the heights of the OG series but we got to let that go. The fact that they eventually were able to get it to be half or three quarters as good as the OG series after all this time is impressive enough.
