The trope of everyone has to have eyes on the MC did not do it for me in Wistoria Sword and Wand. Strangely I don't know why. It would've been more impacting with Elfy, Sion, and maybe Ed baring Witness but the students at the academy having their moment of reflection felt very forced and lackluster. The Tower seems incredibly anticlimactic now if he keeps this power up. I hope he can no longer unleash and have to seriously train into it.

Ok, there's a lot of confusion so I'll explain with as little spoilers as possible. The fifth element is not something extremely rare or only shows up under certain conditions. As far as we've seen, it's specifically tailored to Will. Ed actually says exactly what it is: Wis. It was also on the screen in the beginning when Will says "I will become a lone sword" which this line was changed from the manga where he says "I will become a lone magicblade". The baby in the beginning is who we THINK is Will, but it's not confirmed since Finn explains very little details regarding the origins in recent chapters. We DO have theories about this though since something very important happens (which probably won't be shown this season). Also Mercedes = Mage Queen. Idk how y'all missed that lol. As far as him being OP: Yes and No. He is strong, but he doesn't know the first thing about Wis, so when everyone says this is just the beginning, think about his strength here as the starting line. There's A LOT more lol.

To me it seems like Mercedes and the other guy made a pact 500 years ago and Will is the first and/or most successful of their experiments to unlock the fifth element. Not to say Will himself is 500 years old.

probably that old man got power related to time based on how his eyes and so been doing it over and over manipulated time but just on Will alone. Hence why he is in the orphanage, until this time come, he grew up together with Elfaria. The Wand and Sword becomes together for the first time. I think Im cooking. lol feels like make sense suddenly 😂 but honestly, Will are so knowing Elfaria in and out definitely lol. He just instantly cast that big castle. Imagine that was just a GLIMPSE of Elfaria's power. This show made me recognise Elfaria as probably best Ice User, better than Aokiji just from the spell she made.
