"Tomato Cultivator" was the best gamer tag. He named himself that as a reference to when Si Ri gave him that tomato plant and he started talking to tomatoes all the way back in Episode 2.

2026-10-05 14:00 27:30 The reason they made Captain Ri a gamer was as a reference to the actor Hyun Bin's drama right before CLOY, Memories of Alhambra. In that drama he's a Video Game engineer who travels to Spain in order to try to create an Augmented Reality version of Elden Ring. The magical part comes when the enemies in the video game start attacking him in real life to the point where he has to defend himself. The background music that was playing during this scene was directly from the Memories of Alhambra soundtrack.

What's crazy is the actors Hyun Bin and Son Ye Jin had a baby immediately after this KDrama came out. ❤️.... It's cool seeing Son Ye Jin out of maternity leave and back in a big KDrama when she played the mom in No Other Choice

You can say they’re the OG Big 3 Kpop Companies (until Big Hit became the 4th added on)…! Listen y’all: Porridge to us Asians is like Chicken Soup for Americans to get over a cold lol 😂 Also if you think about it, both Jeonghyuk and Seri saved each other that day: one of them lost their brother due to some shady sh*t he discovered and the other lost the will to live, until they were in the same space with music playing thanks to his piano meant for his brother. It makes Jeonghyuk's resolution to protect Seri very meaningful because he couldn't save his brother, so now he's gonna make sure to protect the love of his life from the same POS that took out his brother's life.... I'm looking forward to the remaining 25% episodes left, because from here on out, let's just say things become dire...

Its so crazy though bc weird love stories like this do happen. My friend met her husband as children in India. She rejected him in her teens and she moved to the US, never spoke to him or his family or told them where she was going and they met by chance in college in the US despite neither of them even knowing that they would be in the US and in the same state. Now theyre married with two kids.

Okay, after the PC room scene, this might be my favorite episode. The comedy is top-notch. This show is fantastic. It's made me completely change my mind. How I want to feel about korean romcoms.

I could have never imagined the show being so wholesome. Boy, do I have some feelings about this episode? So the whole family is trash from the dad who looks like Korean Vince McMahon to the mom who treated Si-ri like Jon Snow, the brothers, the sisters-in-law. I get the stepmother wanted to redeem herself but she was feuding with a little girl who had no idea that she was in a fued. She left Si-ri to die in the elements. Then when this girl built her business from the ground up and made something of herself, despite she growing around her awful family her mother had a nerve to try to ask this woman to step back from her own job for the sake of her trifling brother's no wonder this girl tried to kill herself.

1:37:43 I had the same thought as Sheera when I first watched this drama several years ago. The writing of this show is very air tight. The episodes are 90 ish minute movie length, but there's not a wasted minute. Some dramas with movie-length episodes have a lot of fluff and filler that drags at points (cough... Vincenzo... cough). Every minute of CLOY is used to progress the story or be productive in character development. In fact, this should could have used more time and still be great (I feel like the B-couple, Seo Dan and Alberto, get less time then they should have. Part of this was probably Ri's squad and also the Aunties being so good, to the point where they are sucking up entertaining TV time).

The concept for both of those groups was that 2AM was more of a ballad type of group and 2PM was more upbeat, fun type.
