Erm, akctually 🤓- I'm gonna be that guy, sorry- Mike Pondsmith, creator of the Cyberpunk ttrpg- Cyberpunk 2013, Cyberpunk 2020, Netrunner: The Card Game, and Cyberpunk Red- from the 80s and therefore creator of Cyberpunk 2077 said in an interview that he was mainly inspired by a lesser known book called Hardwired written by Walter Jon Williams, a close friend of Pondsmith's.

In the episode when that guy said "Oh? Is it just you, Major?" and then she angrily punched him. In the Dub he said "Hey? Where your girlfriends?" and then she angrily punched him. It was funnier and made more sense lolll. 🤣🤣 and he said it in a tease tone.

The ending kinda digs into the existential nightmare of it all. Major thinks she's a human cause she was told someone put her brain in that robot body, but she doesn't actually know that there's a brain in there. The other girl remarks about how technology is advancing to the point where they can recreate the human brain more and more with hardware. How much of your brain needs to be in the robot for you to still be 'human'?

Not gonna lie never read the original manga only saw the movie and various spin off oghost in the shell .y favorite still is stand alone complex but I am loving this series so far especially if this is the true cannon of the manga

Correction guys. The Major is a cyborg. She has a human brain. It's just her body is a full prosthetic. As you guy may have already noticed, most of the Section 9 squad are cyborgs with varying degrees of prosthetics. Togusa is the only full human there if I recall correctly.
