it makes sense as a long con if you think about it tbh, the only way to avoid the algo initiating the safeguard IMMEDIATELY on bernard/juliette's re-entrance would be to fake their death or erase their memory so algo doesn't calculate probability of them sharing truth of other silos or, if it has realised they figured further, so they dont turn algo off. it could have been bernard's plan that he fed sims even
