Khanlin Rodgers if you liked Weapons watch Barbarian, from the same director, same humor. This is the opposite of what PJ said, it leans more into Comedy than horror, but Tucker and Dale vs Evil is a good one on the opposite spectrum.

Tbf it’s not. It’s the audiences first introduction into the horror/comedy balance. It has the tone nosedive with a creepy and mysterious moment then rises back up. The whole shows tone setup within a 10 second scene. Arguably one of the most impressive moments in the show IMO

whats the point of tagging it as a horror comedy. I was hesitant to watch this when it came out because comedy would ruin the horror for me. but now I watched it with you and I dont see why its advertised as a comedy. Sure funny moments but nothing "comedy" worthy imo

Evil Dead 2, The Wailing is 90% horror but the jokes are great, Late Night With the Devil, all Jordan Peele especially Nope, Slither, Return of the Living Dead. Those are all some of my favorite horror comedies, but I actually think "horror tinged with a bit of comedy" is the better genre.

It's got a very British style of humor which is making fun of faux pas/situational comedy. Like when Whyck said don't interrupt me or make fun of my grammar and immediately said "tit for tit" instead of "tit for tat". You saw the pain Tom was in for not being able to correct him. If that's not your style of humor, you won't find much of this show funny but that's what it's going for

You’re right that the whole premise is different, but it’s still the same genre. Horror/ mystery/comedy. Even watching it for me personally my mind was like this has the same vibe or aura as from in the first episode. That’s what made me prompt the question.

Yeah, this was definitely a breath of fresh air after watching the last season of From. It just feels more put together if that makes sense, like the writers know where they're gonna take it without too long of a drag. These episodes go by so quick lol.

The best part of this show is the fact that it doesn't take itself too seriously. I will say the quality of the episodes decrease gradually as the season goes on imo.

Some island towns have older cars since shipping costs a lot and you aren't driving often or very far so they last longer. not every island of course but some do simply due to costs and unless its a tourist town (as the mayor is trying to get it to be), you are not gonna have much wealth anyways to get a new car and maintain it.

Most people would think that if you lost the ability to feel then sex is pointless. Modern neuroscience recognizes that humans actually have between 22 and 33 senses, not just five. Funny joke indeed, but incredibly inaccurate to the truth.
