2026-10-05 14:00 So much plot, in once episode man. I love the design of the dragon race, the small patches of scales forming reminds me of callouses. Cool interpretation of dragon-like human features. And it's funny to think in the first day of knowing rudy, perugius told him his magic was disgusting and he hates his wife. lmfao

No Laplace is a Demon God

Drey

Is man god like actually the human god? I feel like he don’t fw humans frl

Drey

Wait if that’s a spoiler don’t reply

supakame

Why Sylphie gotta do Nanahoshi like that?

King Rama

I don't think the Man-God's true identity has ever been revealed, even in the novels and they're complete. I recall there being a lot of theories on who it was but I read this as a web novel like 13 years ago so a lot could've changed

Deathzii

I’m guessing it’s just because Rudy has an abnormally large amount of mana like lapace that’s why he reminds him so much of him

Unreasonable Peanut

As someone who read the Mushoku Tensei prequel web novel, Old Dragon's Tale, seeing that mural was an absolute joy. It perfectly depicts how the current world came to be. If you aren't familiar with the extended lore, it probably won't make much sense right now. Honestly, even if you finish the main series, it still might not. While the end of this season might touch on the general gist, it won't fully explain the massive history depicted on that wall. If you really want to understand exactly what happened, I highly recommend picking up Old Dragon's Tale

Unreasonable Peanut

Laplace factor/aspect is not explained yet in the anime. But they will surely do it this season, so do not spoil

Semaj Brown

Roshi I think you forgot the last time someone asked rudeus if the name Man-God means anything to him, was when orsted the dragon god almost killed all of them. So yes, this time we lie 😂

NumiGhost

I wonder if mana making her sick? All right I have two theories,1 She was sick before she was isekai'd here [But she doesn't age] so how would an illness progress if her body doesn't grow? Since she doesn't have mana at all and comes from place with none, the mana could be feeding the sick cells in her body or replacing them and her body is rejecting the process. 2 Mana is completely foreign to her being and she surrounded by it cause its in the air (like mist or fog) a light concentration so she gets sick a little at a time. But for an entire year of constant magic circle experiments large doses of mana is being poured near her in tub fulls along with recent smaller doses of it as well. Mana is probably like radiation. Nanahoshi may never get completely better since in this magical world they use healers potions and probably mana controlled surgeries.

P3rcy

Nanahoshi coughing every episode till now reminds me of how they did Arthur Morgan…so if she does end up having tuberculosis I won’t be shocked.

Panda

A big part of me is hoping, with how much of a fan this studio seems to be of the verse, that they will continue to animate the world/verse even post rudy's story.

Xemnas27

The PLOT is PLOTTING bois 🔥🙏

Fuji

rudy was about to get jumped by the servants after hearing about laplace lmao

OpmBabi

Wait does that mean his wife is from another world too woah I never thought about that (non manga reader)

Pan Cakes

he talks about it at the end lol

Semaj Brown

I know lol. I literally paused, made the comment, and then his play and was like “oh never mind”

Rak

love how Sheera and Roshi lead with the worst possible scenario in every suspicion lol everyone is a potential opp until proven otherwise

DocGreen

Just to let you guys know the way Rudy does spells since he has incantationless casting he can t control the level of firepower he wants to release any spell at. You saw him do it with orsted and with lightning when he went fishing. Sylphy can do the same but not to that degree. But she can to incantationless healing unlike Rudy. So she can hold the spell for longer and it accelerated nanahoshis illness.

Basedra

Slyphie said we’re not adding another one and killed nanahoshi.

Caius

Rudy kind of did accidentally tell sylphie he was an isekai when he still thought fitz was a guy when he first met nanahoshi by telling her they are from the same place and nanahoshi goal being to go to her own world. It's also why even though sylphie can accept other girls into rudy life she can't with nanahoshi due to the fear he may decide to just leave to his old world alongside her. That Mural was a treat to see after reading the prequalish story of old dragons' tale. I hope they also plan to adapt it in the future.

Sader

Hope Lupa's doing alright, I really loved his input in the series. Best wishes.

Panda

Brother you don't need to be explaining ts, it's lowkey a spoiler. Even tho not a "significant" one, it's pointing them in the right direction. This ain't a battle aura situation, "LA" was omitted purposely.

Goofyaah

Sylphie tryna ignore it and carry on killing Nanhoshi, we see through your disguise we know you’re a yandere at heart

carpetpete@icloud.com

Banger episode I fell they could of stretched this out a bit more

joshua rosario

i think because rudy was teaching her as a kid to no talk cast. 0rrrr maybe Man-God was the reason why her hair changed color and why she can only do wind now instead of water now?

P. A.

If the mass teleportation wasn't done by someone of the MT world, does that mean it was done outside? Was it the man god who's done it, since he seems to be powerful and part of some ethereal world?

Panda_senpai

Love these lore filled episodes

Devin B

I don't see what Elinalise did as messed up because even if she mentioned her past early on it wouldn't have helped with Zenith's condition anyways so I don't blame her for not mentioning it before.

Huemon_Nottabear

I didn't realize til now, they got teleported based on their magic power/resistance. Nanah with no mana went first, Rudy with the most went last.

Dane

Definitely looks like the Man God in that mural. I'm pretty certain the gate was for mana detection, Rudy and her contain the most mana of the bunch. Especially Rudy.

Adam Beaudry

Don’t want to spoil, but them glowing walking through and Syvaril questioning them wasn’t about them knowing the Man-God. Sylphie doesn’t know the Man-God also. I won’t say what Syvaril saw with them though for spoiler reasons

Unreasonable Peanut

The entire premise of Mushoku Tensei was the mass teleportation. It won't be explained until literally the end of Mushoku Tensei.

DJ Muldrow

All will be revealed concerning the questions in cour 2 I think

General Grevious

This Dragon King guy is actually kinda cool, he moved the story along as soon as he showed up😂

Teeny Mite

fr, imagine she was actually poisoning her secretly. I know she is an "accepting, open" type of person but that part before nanhoshi coming in just felt like actual jealously.

Fenpai

I'm confused, why did Sylph glow? I read the LN's I just seem to not remember this interaction, nor why Sylphy triggered it. If any other people with knowledge know please remind me 🙏.

Michael Kaiser

Idk how to feel about this dragon king guy tbh good guy or bad guy I have no idea bro lowkey sus

Unreasonable Peanut

Both Rudeus and Sylphie have the Laplace Factor. It what made Rudeus body have so much mana. And Sylphie initially having green hair (Laplace also have green hair)

YoungMonarch

welp bc of twitter i understand the wall fuck meee

bark

Sylphie probably secretly casting the radiation spell instead of healing and hoping noone noticed,

Alex

The best episode of the season so far

Goofyaah

When Rudy said he doesn’t have feelings for Nanahoshi was the moment the cogs started spinning in Sylphie’s head and she decided that the next chance she gets, she’s gonna make sure he won’t be able to EVER have those feelings for her

OxyM

Damn bro hard R and everything,

Fenpai

Gotcha thanks, I forgot about the Laplace factor

thatNEET_

The thumbnail of this episode is a closeup of Elinalise's thighs. Idk if that's intentional or automatic, but I thought it was funny.

sol jam

Thank you for the recommendation I'm going to read it of they won't get deep into it in the main series

GX .

The reason Elinalise didn't tell Rudeus about her own past was that it contained nothing but negative implications for Zenith’s condition. She lost her memories after being trapped in a labyrinth and came out of it afflicted with a curse. Even now, 200 years later, those memories have never returned. She didn’t want to confront Rudeus with the possibility that Zenith might suffer the same fate and never regain her memories. And when she actually saw Zenith, she noticed that Zenith’s condition was different from her own. That gave her reason to believe that Zenith might not necessarily end up like she did and that her memories could still return. That’s why Elinalise chose not to tell Rudeus about her own experience.

ririsadgal

sylphie and rudy glowing while entering the castle wasnt because of anything to do with the man-god but instead something else that happens to be related to the man-god!

Ramon Fax!

Light Novel Cut Content: While Perugius was speaking with Rudeus about his massive mana pool/strength he made a comment that he heard that "Rudeus" injured The Dragon God Orsted, (even though it was just a scratch) Rudeus couldn't believe anyone except Orsted himself could've told Perugius that. Meaning Perugius and Orsted are in close contact with each other. This is another reason Perugius was warning Rudeus to not start shit with him. Sidenote: When Rudeus was looking back at Perugius's familiars they all had murderous intent as if they were getting ready to jump at Rudeus. Also that Mural spoils the entire lore and history of Mushoku Tensei.

Glenn Davies

I think in the moment of panic, Sylphie was attempting to cast detoxification and healing magic on herr because Nanahoshi has a completely different physical makeup than people born in the Six-Faced World, the mana from the healing magic reacts negatively and appears to make her condition even worse off.

Rocksolo

Roshi y’all be listening to hard I’m pretty sure he said bring your son to me and I will give him a name what is y’all talking about 😂

Kenyon

There's a prequel to this world??

Unreasonable Peanut

Yes. It's called Old Dragon's Tale. It was the story on how the world we see through Rudeus now came to be. You can see through the murals that there are six gods in there. Basically, the murals was depicting the Age of Gods, before something incredibly bad happened.

KuraiSomnium

Wait what happened with lupa?

Drey

No disrespect brother but be a little more aware. Not sure how you aren’t aware if you are in the Patreon, Lupa’s little brother moved on🕊️.

AbstractDread

I'm speaking in terms of the light novel, I don't remember the exact reason for the glow but I'm pretty sure it's because both of them possess a Laplace factor (a portion of Laplace giving the person who has one either a larger mana pool compared to others, better touki, green hair, etc. in which someone who holds all and the most would become his reincarnation).

AbstractDread

That was a nice detail, it would have been dumb for him to confirm that he knew of him, for all he knows he could've been attacked like last time.

AbstractDread

There's also side stories that follow some of his kids and what they did in their lives, a small tidbit to get others interested in it, one of his kids later on in life becomes the apprentice of the Death God and later claimed the title himself.

AbstractDread

I wish we got more of him in the story or a side story of his life

AbstractDread

Since you don't want any spoilers I won't spoil anything but I will just tell you that the man God and the Demon god Laplace are two different people

KuraiSomnium

Gotcha yeah I’m not usually always a Patreon I usually unsubscribe for a bit to let some of my favorites series stack up before resubscribing so I had no idea

kai

You guys should catch up with reincarnated as a slime off screen and then watch with reactions from there, it’s picked up really heavily and I think it’s worth reactions now

thatNEET_

When he talked to Orsted, he had his future sight activated from the start.
