Nokopara (the horse guy) doesn't recognize Rudy because it had been roughly around 8 years or more since he was last in the Demon Continent with Eris and Ruijerd. As of the current season, Rudeus is 18 years old. In the Light Novel, Rudeus mentions that Nokopara looks almost the same as he did 8 years ago, and that he didn't know how to tell how old a horse is, so he figures Nokopara sees humans the same way.

Nanahoshi’s voice actress did SO GOOD in that scene. That scene was so sad 💔 Also commenting to what Sheera said that we don't know if Nanahoshi is birthed or teleported. They established one of the old seasons that she DID got teleported from Earth to this world with NO mana (Reason why she need help from someone that has mana for the teleportions she's doing), plus they also talked about that she doesn't grow at all. Just wanted to clarify this!

They said in like S2 that Nanahoshi was teleported to this world, but Rudeus was reborn in this world as a baby. That's probably why he fits in with the world, and grows up normally, while Nanahoshi's body hasn't changed since she arrived.

Actually it's interesting because she's less compatible with this world than him in both ways: physicially and mentally. Her body can't live long term there, but in the first place she loved her life on earth and wanted to be back at home.

I am not surprised you guys don't remember its been like 3 years but nanohoshi got teleported here the moment the mass teleportation incident happened she does not grow or age or anything one of the interesting things is that although rudues died and got reincarnated at the same time she got teleported she did not appear in the world until rudeus was 10. Another thing that you guys might not remember is that rudeus tried to save nanohoshi in his final moments he pushed her and the two guys with her out of the way of the truck but her and one of the boys went missing.

It was confirmed that Nanahohi was teleported rather than reincarnated back in season 2. It was also revealed that she was the girl Rudy tried to save when he died. He was born as a baby 10 years before she showed up during the mass teleportation. Edit: It's hard to get across in anime, but everyone looks Western, including Rudy, but Nanahishi looks Japanese. She is in her real body from Earth, while Rudy's soul is in a new body conceived and produced by the people of this world, like everyone else, and thus has mana and all the regular evolved immunities and resistances. It was brushed over here, but the reason Nanahoshi is a shut-in is that she is smart and understood that since her body isn't from this world, she could be taken out by a common mild illness that everyone else has evolved to deal with.

Just want to add, there's ranks in MT (Beginner, Intermediate, Advanced, Saint, King, Emperor, God). That's why they call Badigadi's sister, the "Demon King" Atofe who has the same title as him. The rank usually indicates how strong they are but that's not always the case.

A refresher is that the teleportation incident happened as a blowback to nanahoshi being summoned to the world. If you go back to episode 1 you can see nanahoshi is the girl rudeus saw arguing with her crush before he got isekaied by the truck. Nanahoshi has looked the same since that moment, and if orsted didnt find her she wouldve been long dead or in slavery very quickly since she had no way to defend herself. its a valid crash out she had and the VA did amazing there.

The ranks are both specific and vague. At least until Gods, which are relatively stable in both position and qualification. But nothing has a vaguer capacity than the demons. As best expressed by Kishirika herself. The highest ranked demon shy of Laplace, and yet... go ahead and try to guess her capability lol. Demons seem to degrade the rules of the world almost innately.

Its been said before, but they do a really good job of making this feel like a JRPG. Idk if yall have noticed, but each region has its own themes, motifs, and creditless opening associated with it. The sole exception to this is when they went to Begaritt to link up with Paul last season. This has been ongoing throughout the series, but wasn't very noticable last season because geographically speaking like 90% of it was spent in the Northern Region near the Ranoa Kingdom. Im assuming it either didnt make sense from a budget perspective to include a different opening or it was just a difference in perspective amongst directors.

just a refresher that nanahoshi came to the new world exactly as she was in japan, she was not reincarnated like rudeus, she was teleported and hasnt aged since she arrived. ALSOO elanalise was blushing because she likes how caring cliff is.

Someone else explained this already, but... Nanahoshi was not reborn into this world. She was teleported. She's also one of the kids Rudues saved before getting hit by the truck in episode 2.

Nanahoshi's Dryne Syndrome reminds me of the Eternal Sleep disease from Solo Leveling. Because she was teleported here and not reborn and able to develop mana capacity like Rudeus was, her body gradually succumbed to mana exposure.

I am unsure how other people feel, and I know that you all have tight schedules, but I would really wish if you guys would hold off on reactions when the full crew isn't available. I love your duo reactions, but it feels like some of the content is missing when Lupa isn't there on shows you all started. I hope that Lupa gets the time he needs, but it is really unfortunate to see him missing from series that he has been ok for years at this point. Much love!
