I just wanted to say, every hack Elliot does in this show is completely plausible. Most of what he's typing on the computer is real. This show had a whole team of cyber security researchers work on the show! The only thing that's unrealistic is how long it takes Elliot and the fact this this MF never opens up stack exchange😂

I watched this episode when it came out on tv. It was randomly “delayed” and premiered around midnight. The clock scene had me tripping bc it hit right at 12 am lmaooo. I looked at the clock in my house as soon as it happened and it gave me GOOSEBUMPS. This show is PEAK

FYI, Elliot was not typing bs. Real life hackers and cyber security experts have said the hacking on this show is the most realistic ever shown on TV. They hired experts and built whole programs to hack and use actual hacking software. Everything you see on screen is actual real deal hacks done in safe environments

I dont know if I can say this on here, but that URL for that trafficking site is scary accurate. Around 2017, I randomly installed Tor browser and ran into a website that looked just like that. Browsed a little bit for like 40 seconds until I was disgusted by what was on sale and immediately closed the site and deleted the browser. Keep in mind this show is 10 years old, it's probably way worse now the sites that are out there. PSA: Don't be too curious guys and it's easier than you think to stumble upon the illegal activity online.

3:30 As a programmer, from what I saw, the code was accurate enough from the few frames I looked at. Idk if the syntax is all accurate but looked like they were at least trying to imitate and not just make up stuff under the assumption no one with skill would look at it. The way he writes code is kind of pretentious imo but I get it, it looks cooler to watch.
