Well done Roshi, you remembered that every specific Stand is tailored to one’s own personality, which is what makes it the best power system of all due to how different and unique each of them are. For Johnny in particular it’s as if he has a Fusion of both a Stand and the Spin. A Spin on Stands if you will, and what makes it even more genius is that he can’t even Stand. Although we’ve seen that before with the Silver Goat Polnareff. Anyways Mountain Tim’s Actual Stand name- “Oh! Lonesome Me” (Don Gibson Song) The BoomBoom Family’s Actual Stand Name- “Tomb of the Boom” (OutKast Song) In the original universe during Part 5, the origins of Stands was revealed and so basically it was from a meteorite that crashed in a place called Cape York, there was an unknown virus within it that infected one of the men that discovered the site of it, so they had to bring him in a hospital to help recover him, but he ended up electrocuting them with a disease that was too much for him to handle, this disease went viral by a man that wanted this perceived “power of the gods”, injecting the virus into arrows that became the stand arrows, affecting everyone differently based on survival through natural selection, it’s what would happen if all the diseases of the world, especially Covid-19, was otherworldly and we used it to make us stronger, both spiritually and mentally evolving ourselves. “Viral Evolution” as it’s called, whereas now paralleled here it’s brought back and revised as a cursed area by once again a meteorite, a place that should be one’s doom, but instead ends up being a blessing in disguise, reshaping one’s fate, which is a core theme of the series. Whether it be a virus or a curse of the devil, those who survive it shall gain that of a Stand as one who stands against fate.

Johnny has a stand like Joseph did that is perfect for a Harmon user but in this case it’s the spin instead. Theories floated around that if original Johnathan had a stand it would have been just like hermit purple since it would have complimented his Harmon skills.
