2026-10-20 03:00 ABSOLUTE 🔥BLEACH🔥CINEIMA! ❗️PLEASE READ ❗️critical Info Roshi gang, long but worth it. How poetically fitting that it’s the 9th episode of this 4th part in which Yhwach is defeated. 4 = Death in Japanese and 9 = The ownership of land terminated after the 9th generation. This Episode is the culmination fluid action animation spectacle and choreography fully living up to the term ‘Movie Quality’ unlike anything seen before. The path that Uryu created for Ichigo after firing his Getsuga and when he charges that golden arrow along with him, flying across the battlefield as well as Yhwach defeat looked straight out of either Fate or Demon Slayer mixed with the setting of the eclipse from Berserk. A true climax point love letter to all Bleach fans and was without a doubt worth the month and a half wait from the previous episode. On Twitter when it was announced to be delayed, a veteran animator Nakano Miyu stated “I will bring you the best episode. Please wait a moment” and man was he right on the money, complete savage aura. Practically everyone got their chance to shine, and even for those that didn’t who were expected, that alone makes it abundantly clear that this isn’t the complete or true end of Bleach. Between this and BC, Studio Pierrot proving they’re one of the best OG anime studios. That silence at the end of triumphant victory was true perfection along with making the parallel of “Old Man” Zangetsu as Young Yhwach reflected upon the blade- A True canceled out irony moment, such is the beauty and to serve the message of self acceptance that Bleach represents. Manga: Chapter 0 Side-A (“the sand”), included in Volume 23 (Mala Suerte!). Anime: Primarily Episode 109 (“Ichigo and Rukia, Thoughts in the Revolving Sky”), with related material also adapted in Episode 227 (“Wonderful Error”). This is Ichigo’s internal monologue/poem from the bonus side story set shortly before the main series begins (before he meets Rukia). It opens with reflections on the changing world and his powerlessness, then states: “It spins. The world changes. It turns. Each time it touches the sun and the moon… it takes a new shape. The one thing that does not change… is my powerlessness. It’s turning. If fate is a millstone… then we are the grist. There is nothing we can do. So I wish for strength. If I cannot protect them from the wheel… then give me a strong blade… and enough strength… to shatter fate.” Kisuke’s plan- Remember Hollows are pension to Quincies. His contingency for Grimjow to instinctively pierce and inject Hollow Aids into Yhwach to temporarily stun him to make the opening for the killing blow should the still arrow not worked. He banked on Grimjows desire for a rematch with Ichigo would push him to be at the final battle and also prioritized the team healing Grimjow first and not himself. Get Grimjow into proximity of Yhwach as one of his possible outcomes. Similar to his plan for Aizen whe he fought ichigo. Mimihagi as part of the Soul King that is immune to The Almighty, bypassing it being at the center in defeating Yhwach was the best course of action that is completely anime original whereas in the manga it was simply just Uryu firing the silver arrow that came out of nowhere and Ichigo’s True Bankai Final Slash. Speaking of which, it’s self-explanatory in a visual sense with it being broken and shattering, symbolizing that it’s literally broken with the ability to shatter fate. Simple in a complex sense. His True Bankai (still called Tensa Zangetsu) is formed by merging them. The smaller blade slots into the larger one, producing a single large weapon that visually resembles his original cleaver-like Shikai but with a white outer shell over a black core and a thick chain. This represents the complete integration of his mixed heritage. His True Bankai (still called Tensa Zangetsu) is formed by merging them. While Ryuken clearly wanted no direct involvement in this as he believed that he would've failed again like he did with Masaki, so he entrusted his son to take care of it. As for those that wanted Aizen, he still had those seals on him, there was nothing more he could’ve done, besides he had the focus on him for most of OG Bleach anyways. The smaller blade slots into the larger one, producing a single large weapon that visually resembles his original cleaver-like Shikai but with a white outer shell over a black core and a thick chain. This represents the complete integration of his mixed heritage. Isshin likely went to protect Karin and Yuzu offscreen. Bleach TYBW Episode 49 “The Blade” Keyword Page Yhwach “After having absorbed all the power of the Soul King and all the Schrift (Holy Script/Letter) powers of the of the Stern Ritters (Star Knights), He became able to exist in the three worlds all at once. The purpose of Yhwach, who has become an existence that surpasses even the Soul King, is to lead the three worlds to an end and create a new world similar to what was before as the primordial world without the "fear of death".

Bleach Calaminator

ABSOLUTE 🔥BLEACH🔥CINEIMA!

For anyone who is confused about why Ichigo's bankai shattered into a blade similar to his old Shikai, here is the explanation from Arthur but the details of this were answered by Kubo and has been public for a decade now: Per Kubo’s Klub Outside Q&A 357, every true Zanpakuto consists of a blade and a scabbard, with only two exceptions born into the world without one: Oetsu Nimaiya’s Sayafushi (whose edge was too sharp for any sheath) and Ichigo’s original Zangetsu. It wasn't until Oetsu reforged Zangetsu at the Phoenix Palace that it took its correct, dual-blade form, the large Hollow blade serving as the scabbard and the small Quincy blade as the core blade When releasing Bankai, the two fuse into a single weapon where the outer white shell acts as the scabbard around the inner black sword; so when Yhwach shattered that outer layer, he merely stripped the scabbard to reveal the core blade underneath (explaining why it resembles his original Shikai), and by absorbing that broken scabbard back into his spiritual body, Ichigo can now freely switch between wielding the dual blades or the single blade

Guess Ju-jump-su Kaisen was right. Like Roshi said, just jump them.

How does 9 mean the termination of land after the ninth generation.

Bleach Calaminator

@BZD It has to do with Medieval Welsh law (specifically the Venedotian Code in the Laws of Hywel Dda / Howel the Good), concerning priodolder (proprietary/ownership rights to land). The “ninth man” (the ninth in the line of descent from the last holder) could still assert a claim to the abandoned land—typically by making a formal “cry over the abyss” (diasbad uwch annwfn)—and receive a share (often equal to that of the longest-occupying claimant). After that point, the title was extinguished. A typical formulation from the sources runs roughly: once a person becomes an owner, “his title does not become extinguished until the 9th man”; or, if someone remains abroad (due to banishment, murder, or other urgent reasons), “his title is not extinguished until the ninth man.” The number 9 fits a broader pattern in Welsh kinship and legal reckoning. Kindred obligations (including for galanas/weregild payments) often extended through nine degrees of relationship (sometimes equated with seven generations, depending on how the degrees were counted). The same limit appears in rules about when claims based on kinship and descent to land finally lapsed.

Check my comment below that I mentioned you in, I would’ve commented it here but it’s lengthy.

Infinity War has given me infinite trauma. I see characters give the most fatal body slices imaginable. Yet still end up thinking to myself “GO FOR THE HEAD”😂

Jamaal Ellison

I hope they've finally killed this nigga Yhwach. This final battle felt dragged out for a while now and I swear this dude has had more battle phases than Ansem in the final battles of the first and second Kingdom Hearts games combined. This felt very Avengers: Endgame coded. Everyone had a hand in the final battle. Because everyone had a stake in the final battle, it was an all-hands-on-deck situation. I'm glad to see everyone play a part in beating this dude.

Six Paths

They did Aizen so dirty lmao. Even Dondochakka and Pesche got new content this episode.

Slim

Peak is back!!!!!

Ergo Somnium

I felt the reality of JJK tear a little bit too.🤣

lazyboi

It's gonna be the last episode next week.

aegismk2

actual cinema

GoofyGooner

Brooo this community is hilarious wtf you wild son 🤣

W Wang

I'm going to be completely honest, as cool as fuck as all this is, the fuck ass arrow is still stupid. They should've explained it a lot more in advance, explain how the consequences of Yhwach stealing away all the quincy's powers came back to bite him in the ass, but nah, we don't even get that explanation. Isshin and Ryuken just give it to Uryu and says "yeah this'll disable him"

Nick Vaughn

Telling you this right now, if Harribel telling me to eat her…not even the Almighty could pull me out. I’m diving into chest meat first

YungZeus

If you told me dondochakka, Pesche and Bawabawa would help take down Ywach back then, I wouldn’t have believed you.

Śtórmí X

Our Only hope is the goat Chad

Indifferent Denji

Someone probably said it but to clarify haschwalt showed him the future when ywach was asleep but used his power to make him think it was only a nightmare.

Indifferent Denji

Man im so sad its over😭 its mha all over again im NOT ready for jjk and demon slayer. At least we got modulo but that’ll only be like 12 eps 🤣

Jamaal Ellison

Fizzy 🐉

Aizen got done dirty but ohhh well at least Chad got his shine that all I care about

godUsoland

I CAN'T BELIEVE Pesche and Dondachakka helped land the finishing blow on Yhwach!!! What an incredible upscale! 😆 Even Chad did something!

GameGod

Komamura came back to give Yhwach rabies

Fuji

people really thought grimmjow was gonna eat her instead of running the fair one lol, he will get his chance in hell arc i hope

meeran haq

Personally the wait kind of diminished the emotion behind it but I understand why they had to do it. Still so much better than Manga. All the added details made it feel so much better. Man I really hope they green-light Hell arc.

Ergo Somnium

Pretty sure that's what the next episode is for. But we will see

Dexter Blessed

The animators clearly have so much love for Pesche and Dondachakka

These Plums

W Roshi for protecting us from his forehead glare.

P. A.

The reason I assume Yhwach smiled at the end is that, in the visual imagery of his inner world, Ichigo’s final slash severed all the red threads connecting Yhwach to the deaths of the quincies, and all the suffering and anguish that came with them. Yhwach constantly feels and hears their suffering. That’s why, at the beginning of this episode, he said he wanted to create a world of nothingness, so he could finally have the peace and quiet he had always desired, as he stated back in ep. 1 of cour 1. That’s also why the sound gradually faded during the final slash, to convey that Yhwach could no longer hear the cries and anguish of the Quincies.

WTT_321

He did say it was gonna be posted earlier than expected in the schedule post....

WTT_321

"Yuck" had too much OP nonsense that ended up making me hate watching this arc... Oh well, at least I agree with the Endgame bit...!

nitehikari

If I were you I would ignore it. This dude makes false connections and then creates theories and passes them as facts

Sun Drip Woo

no wonder so many of ya'll patreon members get so much hate. Ya'll weird asf boy

nitehikari

No. No you don’t. Welsh law has nothing to do with Germa Law. They aren’t even the same language origin. Welsh is Celtic and German is Germanic. 🤣 so why would they change the Quincy’s German influence to Welsh 🤣

Sun Drip Woo

I'm really curious as to what Urahaha did to Grimmjow. Due to the translation of the version that they watched here, it's a bit different from another translation I watched earlier. Grimmjow actually says when he bit Yhwach "what did the old man do to me" implying that Kisuke somehow modified Grimmjow which enabled him to neutralize Yhwach when he bit him. Hopefully they explain it in the final episode.

Bleach Calaminator

I didn’t say they have to do with each other. They just share a common significance for the number 9…. it has deep roots in Germanic mythology and folk tradition, and November 9 carries heavy historical weight in modern Germany. Some writers have also noted that several major “fateful years” in German history ended in 9 (1849, 1919, 1939, 1949, 1989, etc.), though this is more of a journalistic observation than a deep cultural belief. So yes, yes I do.

nitehikari

So false connections…. Got it 🤣

Bleach Calaminator

So you don’t actually pay attention or watch the series cause it holds a clear connection to Yhwach as a faithful number who’s from Germanic inspiration.

nitehikari

Yes… still you presented a false connection from a Welsh ancenstry. And are trying to present true connections from German ancenstry so you can present them as facts. Thats is you making false connections.

Bleach Calaminator

So you honestly think it’s just a coincidence and nothing more, are you serious?

Badsos123

THE BEST EVERYONE JUMP HIS ASS MOMENT!!!

nitehikari

Yes…. Welsh ancestry has nothing to do with the Quincy’s German influence. So you making that false connection and presenting it as fact is you making shit up.

Bleach Calaminator

Again, I never said they had to do with each other. They just share that commonality of significance for that number. Nothing more. It’s more so Germanic in relation to Yhwach, and I was asking if you think that’s just a mere coincidence when it’s obviously not?

nitehikari

“How poetically fitting that it's the 9th episode of this 4th part in which Yhwach is defeated. 4 = Death in Japanese and 9 = The ownership of land terminated after the 9th generation in Welsh/ German lore.” This is you saying they are related. Your own words "It has to do with Medieval Welsh law (specifically the Venedotian Code in the Laws of Hywel Dda / Howel the Good)" adding this as well

Bleach Calaminator

Yeah, they share it in commonality, that’s all, nothing else. Are you really just playing semantics or being overly technical here?

nitehikari

if you are making false connections and presenting them as facts , yes you need to be technical

Chris Kringle

Grimjow budget in this bleach economy🥹it’s beautiful

Bleach Calaminator

Except they’re not false is what you’re not getting, just quickly look into it.

nitehikari

A False CONNECTION.... meaning the Welsh law/ancestry has nothing to do with YWACH/Quincy's German influence. So you connecting them and presenting them as facts is what makes them false. You literally couldve connected ep "9" to the Kaiser Gesang which direct references the # 9.

Isaac

Basically everyone at the end simultaneously halted yhwach's power the last possible second before he turned everything to nothing. And then they all managed to kill all 3 of him at the exact same time.

UV

The anime staff must like Grimjoww a lot

Yoru

I can't imagine Chad losing.

Isaac

Everyone fighting for their lives. Meanwhile Isshin and Ryuken are where? WHERE??? They had better been making out with eachother or something if they weren't gonna participate in this fight. Thats my ONLY gripe here

Astr00

It’s cool so I don’t care

Kugenaru Kira

They aint let these animators leave the studio once this past month

Coatl45

I can’t believe that they did it by dragging Grimmjow along the flesh spear that he was literally impaled on to stab Ywach. He’s going to kill those two once he heals.

Jordan

So Aizen really gone? Couldn't have it so Aizen creates another fake-out and then Uryu/Ichigo hits Ywach one last time? Did they disrespect my goat like this in the manga? I don't remember lmaoo.

Nme24

Where is Mayuri and Aizen

Guav

Tbh since last cour the show has felt off but with today’s fire episode that was cleared, and I think I felt that way cause I was so used to the manga, but using shit like the ability he used when fighting stark was so obvious but I never thought about how fire that would be

Guav

GANJU UPSCALE!!!!!!!!

Lyandro

That was such a funny moment to me!! Kiskue literally thought "hmm if there is even a .5% chance Grimmjow actually got in biting range of Yhwach, then i got something for his ass!!"🤣🤣🤣

Jamarion Rich

Yhwach said ain't no way these weak niggas could ever catch me like that, it must be a dream. Its giving obito they could never make me sweat.

Luhbabytay

Im confuse he got the almighty shouldn’t he had seen all that happen to him and erased it. Shouldn’t he had seen the arrow coming at him

Kelven_140

Naw.. felt off? What made you not like Bleach TYBW that badly?

Kelven_140

Mayuri is healing in a pod. Aizen is just laid down and watches the show. 😅

Kelven_140

They didn't add anything new for Aizen it was 1:1. He does.nothing more then what he did in ep 48. That's why lot of people hoped they something with him even just a littlw bit.

sol jam

Okat this was REALLY good! Not going to lie this arc dragged in places but it stuck the landing very well I love it

sol jam

I fully agree

Kelven_140

22:30 I'm kinda sad they didn't talked about this part because Urahara for sure did something to Grimmjow to able to hurt Yhwach. I hope somebody let them know about it.

Goofyaah

07:18-07:45 “Where’s Chad”? “Bro if Chad shows up I’m throwing my glasses, Jesus”. Oh just you wait

Guav

That’s the thing, I don’t feel negative about it something just felt weird almost as if the fact that I was watching bleach didn’t hit me until this episode, like I can fully accept that bleach my favorite anime ever now has a “final” arc that I can actually feel satisfied about

Offw0rlder

15:30 How dare you wound the finest shyt in the series that way smh

Caio Torres

And then, Yhwach did not complety die and Aizen shows up again and uses his bankai to finish. CINEMA

Kinai Shobu

I still never really found Yhwach to be "the most broken character in anime" after several ppl hyped him up from back then. Strong? Sure but never seen him to be the most broken to me

Oni Legend

To be fair in the manga, they literally could not beat or fight this nigga for longer than 2 seconds at a time and that was with 2 of the strongest niggas in the verse jumping him at the same time. No attack worked, no death or injury stuck, he just kept bullshitting his way out of everything It took a hyper specific unknown outside deus ex machina that was invented and used in the span of a chapter for them to finally weaken him enough to actually kill him. Here its kind of the same, except now it took like 60% of the verse and an additional 2 hyper specific cases on top of the deus ex machina to beat him(Mimihagi and Hollow AIDs)

AKEEM

KUBOLOGY Yuki stabbing Yhwach in the back mirrors chojuro stabbing yhwach 1000 years ago, the head captain rushes from the front while an unassuming “weak” soul reaper attacks from the shadows

AKEEM

Also if you guys remember in the soul society arc when ichigo was training with yoruichi to obtain bankai, OMZ(the origin of his Quincy powers) within the feild of blades he told him "only one of these blades can defeat me" PEAK

Kinai Shobu

Uh huh......as I stated I never saw him as "completely busted" as most ppl said about him

WillGlacier

Combo'd the fuck out of that man
