Zaleah Palmer

The monologue with Rick and his friend is always so crazy and it’s my second time hearing it 😭 also why do they say ladyboys? Isn’t the term trans now or is it just that way in Thailand? Sorry just wondering kinda making me feel weird

quashhh

I’ve been waiting for this unc. Ty : )

Moody

Lmao Roshi, I was reacting the exact same way when I was watching the monologue scene with my girl

Futuristic Girl

like fabian said they know that a lot of guests there in thailand have colorful pasts and they don't want to stir up trouble at the hotel that's his mindset

Futuristic Girl

I'm intrigued to see how y'all will feel about gaitok's arc lol

Futuristic Girl

the family was likely gonna come anyways or maybe just the parents and maybe she just wanted her family to come with her and expand their worldview as well

Futuristic Girl

saxon trying to make his brother hypersexual and masculine and then the brother ends up kissing him in a threesome......u see why u don't do stuff like that with your siblings

Futuristic Girl

also jaclyn is married they could have an open marriage but if not then that's the real fuck up

Futuristic Girl

the connection between buddism spirit vs. form and sexuality and gender that sam's character made was weirdly illuminating overall this season is about spirituality but specifically it's deconstructing the identities these characters tie themselves to

Inconspicuous Pug

The monologue is the best scene in the show ✋😭🤚

jason

to be fair the buddhist girl didn’t ask them to go to a resort. that was the parents idea

Wes App

the interaction i was waiting for. Roshi was like "what?" lmao

rickie woodson

aaaahhhh sam rockwell. hollywood crush

Irie

now all the gaitok smoke i can get behind because sir why are you not doing your job??! speak up and do something like literally ANYTHING atp lol just standing around choosing to be a bystander is the quickest way to piss me off lmao

Irie

jaclyn was giving me pick me girl all night and that was just hard to watch lol. she wanted attention so badly she didn’t even care if she got cussed out by those girls in the club

Fern Weh

In Thailand they’re commonly referred to as ladyboys/that is the stereotype wording exclusive to Thailand

rickie woodson

no way im going to bed a virgin with those two hot russian dudes around. crazy work

Dyani

literally lmfaoo

Futuristic Girl

jaclyn kept pushing laurie towards that guy because she was the only single one only to fuck him later on...

Sydney

This! In EP 1, the dad said they made a family vacation out of her visit

jason

exactlyyy

LaTesha

I love the mom her acting is amazing 👏. The daughter is crazy asking why is she so worried. You lied to them more than once about the trip and then you now want to stay in this place alone where we may not be able to contact you for long periods of time in a country you have only been in once. Mom's making some good points even if some of the comments are tactless.

CurriedCocoa

ahahagggagagagGhagahaghahahhahHahahhh. Been waiting for THIS since they started S1. Rich people mess 😭🤣.

LaTesha

She didn't 😆 they could have stayed somewhere else. She should have thought this plan through better though. She lied to make sure they paid for the trip thinking she was going to be able to go alone, but since they were paying for what they thought was a short trip and not her year long stay things got derailed.

LaTesha

Yea she was not going alone no matter what. Especially if they were paying for the trip to a country none of them have been to before. Its wild she thought they would have been okay with that. In the end if its what she wanted and she didnt want any pushback, save your coins and pay your own way there. It doesn't look like her parents make their pay for anything. She would be able to have her own money and pay for the trip to Thailand herself. Buy the ticket tell them 2 days before or the day before and dip and come back.

LaTesha

Lochlan said I am going to take you down one of these days. Thats what he said to saxon

Futuristic Girl

laurie and kate called her vain and they were kinda right...

Kris Barnes

Rick’s friend talking about his sex-laden path to self-discovery is probably one of my favourite monologues in anything I’ve ever watched

2026-10-22 13:00 I think what tends to happen is that once we get an idea about a character or start to feel a certain way about them, that becomes their sole defining characteristic. Harper did not ask them to come they made that decision, but because you have the perception of her being a liar and someone who wasted the time of her parents you find it difficult to see past that. Her mother is giving you all the evidence as to why she didn’t tell them what her trip was originally for. She didn’t lie to force them with her, she lied because she knew that they would be against it. I also find the reactions to her actions to be a bit bigger than expected. Harper, for the most part, is the most normal person here. She can be dismissive, judgy and a bit out of touch when it comes to her family’s issues, but otherwise she’s a girl trying to find herself in a family defined by what they already have. She hasn’t committed any crimes or done anything immoral and her attitude towards Saxon is justified as he’s the most annoying. So I personally find this immense dislike of her character a bit left field. At the most for me she’s a bit annoying, but with the hate she gets you’d think she was the one that killed Tanya or embezzled money or is plotting an actual murder. Idk this reaction imo is truly wild 😭

Irie

i think you meant piper

GojosHoho

I would love to leave the land of Incestia now thanks😃

Angel Colon

bruh..the music cues when shit starts getting real. i get weak every time 😂

Kermit

I swear that drawn out serious asian girl monologue and Rick's speechless wide-eyed reaction was the funniest part of this season for me. Sht made me spit out my drink.

Lamaree Jackson

Justin Hanmer coming in on expert level creepy

CurriedCocoa

The Gai-Tok Disgust is SO real... Save my gyal Lisa.

Jake Dodd

I do get the parents being a lil bothered, but if she told them before hand they never would of taken her or let her go and also she said after she’s done with school is when she wants to do it so this trip is literally no different then it was originally, Mabye they’ll have to pay for a plane ticket later on but it seems there more just bothered about her wanting to be Buddhist and stay in general

Futuristic Girl

this is exactly what I've been saying especially since this season is about identity it's interesting to see how viewers will make snap judgments about a character and lock them into an identity based on one flaw or mistake that make and piper's mistake was not that bad at all

Ernie

No hype for Sam Rockwell! One of the greats, Also he's actually married to one of the trio girls Kate (Leslie Bibb)

windyMelon

Yeah, Gaitok is balls Also, nothing wrong with drugs in general, as long as it's done responsibly and in moderation. Can't really say everyone in this show follows that advice though

Mea

That monologue from Rick's friend and Goggins' face during it have lived rent free in my head for a year 😭 looool. Its still one of the most insane convos I've ever heard on a tv show.

Ernie

I used the ladyboy to destroy the ladyboy - Thanos

Fabien

I also can't stand gaitok tbh. He's just standing around, always smiling vainly, pursuing a girl that turned him down, and above all making the situation 3x times worse by not saying what happened with the gun right away.

LC

Gaitok might as well be a Walmart greeter since that what he thinks his security job is.

Ernie

If Mel likes Langdon then we all like Langdon. But seriously, there is a reason why he gets a second chance, if you are competent at your job you get privileges that most people don't, this is why certain jobs offer tenure, sure Langdon didn't have it but it's also why courtrooms have character witness, so that people can witness that you're a good character but ended up in a shitty circumstances. If Santos did the same she would be fired & replaced because she isn't holding same merits.

Mike A

Don't forget he announces to his brother he's going into the bathroom to jerk off and then he leaves the door open. Saxon has to figure some stuff about himself out.

Mike A

To give my guy Gaitok a little bail here, you have no idea how an American with a stolen gun is going to act. And he's a security guard for a hotel that rich foreigners stay at, it's not like he's guarding a bank vault. The most he has to deal with is probably breaking up a drunken fight. That said, yeah he needs to get fired lol

Raymond Terry

Oh, that was what the Sam Rockwell cameo was about. This brother stuff is going where I thought it was from earlier in the season. Yoga man and his friends weren't complete shitheads. Color me surprised. And Gaitok, you absolute geek

J Man

LOL... This OST.... "Uhhh uhhh" 😂

J Man

Super L Gaitok!

xLithion

I love how even after hearing his friend say all that crazy stuff he did, he didn't say anything judgy he was just like "yea bro crazy"
