Realistically every avatar story will start with them being kids and go on for a while, aang’s case was that he ain’t got the time so had to move immediately. Event kiyoshi that a majority of the avatar fandom “think” that they know would start or rather started as a headstrong child

I mean, fair enough. I did notice that the angles and perspectives are a bit off, though -- the landscape of the Havens always has a more wrap-around and slightly off-centered perspective than any of the world maps from either Aang or Korra's eras.

in the mover, you can see that korra and asami are wearing betrothal necklaces confirming that they did get married. also, korra's wearing the necklace in the flashback where only pavi is present, but she is no longer wearing it in the flashback that both pavi and nisha witnessed. very interesting....

It’s very obvious already that Korra did what she did because republic city was living off of spirit energy and using sooo much of it that it was destroying the spirit world. And since she is the avatar she had no choice but to force them to stop. Plus it’s an older Korra so I’m sure she tried to convince everyone to “change” (she is a water avatar after all) also they aren’t trying to make us hate Korra their simply playing into the ridiculous and very over exaggerated hatred 1 side of the fan base has.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but this is an apocalypse setting right? Like isn't the alternative to the benders trying to defend against storms and rebuilding shit after just ruin and death? I get it's a kids show but shouldn't the brigade argument simply be "if the benders don't all do this shit we won't be able to properly protect harvests or ppl. You want everybody to starve or die in storm? Benders gotta brigade. You want the brigade members to have some semblance of life and downtime, you need lots of members so they can rotate shifts and create off time".

The spirit energy was prolly being used as an energy source, humans used to much threatening the spirit world so Korra did what she did. That is my guess
