Hanako and Yoruba who had a hand in the relic with Johnny?? Like sometimes the anime feels like a separate story from the overall lore.

It’s cuz if they add the characters there gonna have to choose to make an ending canon for the game, because there are multiple endings

Not really. They can easily just make V like some cryptid anomaly that most people wouldn't know if they actually existed cause of the complete and utter bullshit they pulled(especially when Arasaka would 100% cover that shit up). "No way someone killed THE Adam Smasher" or what have you. Like they can be anyone, from anywhere, and the only thing to go on is the letter V.

I will say, I think k playing the game and no having a frame of reference to just how fucking insane V is and the shit they do due to 2077 being my first experience with the property may have fucked up my expectations and whathaveyou.. Cause when I hear "brought Arasaka to it's limit" I think of Johnny Silverhand's/Morgan Blackhand's nuking of Arasaka Tower and V going wild at Mikoshi, not what David and his crew did. Like I imagine it was a very big deal, but more like a huge embarrassment that showed everyone Arasaka isn't as powerful as they seem kind of way.

Roman is 12, Talia's age isn't stated but we can assume she's around 15 to 17 as Kiril said "Rebellious teen", that's usually the age range. Weak is right, almost no one in Night City is wired different or special, there are only two characters in this universe that are canonically built different. That's V from the game who has pushed way past the limits of cyberpsychosis along with a construct, and Adam Smasher who only has a small percentage of 'ganic parts left. Everyone else isn't built like them. I guess you can make an argument for Songbird too.

That's by design, and tbh the right move. No matter the ending, V and their feats for the most part is unknown to the masses. NC is such a monolith that the only way anyone really truly stands out is by doing something absolutely insane, like nuking Arasaka Tower. Plus by 2077 and beyond the power vacuum amongst the corps is such a big deal it doesn't really matter how it happens, all people care about is who's in charge.

The game takes place after the anime and while it's never outright stated, I think it's implied that he was the first chink in the armor that started the chain of events in the game. It's hard to say whether Dexter Deshawn would have even hired V to rob Arasaka if David hadn't shown they weren't impervious in the first place.

I haven't watched ahead so I'm just gonna throw this out there - is Capri some kind of weird amalgam of every mind uploaded to Soul Killer?? It's been years since I played the game so details on how it works and what happens in each ending are fuzzy, but this just seems to freaky too be a coincidence.

Pretty sure all of this takes place before the game. Maybe season 3 will be different if they decide to do a season 3. Also, if I remember correctly V was pretty much a nobody at the start of whatever life path you chose at the begin on the game.

Maybe not all of soul killer necessarily, but definitely a large amount of constructs made from people, though I doubt Johnny or David would be there. I feel like it was an experiment after David and the downfall of Arasaka to weaponize the constructs somehow.

Because V is too OP for this CyberPunk world. I understand they said all of this is canon but if u think about it, Our V is way "WAY" too OP to compared to these characters. V literally Killed Smasher and if wanted could have destroyed Arasaka single handedly. It's not a good narative to bring V into the story because that would set a very impossible bar to clear for the MC in the show. David was phenomenal, but there are ways for these characters to clear David's bar "achievements".

Honestly I agree, that would be a cool way to handle V. Just make them this Night City cryptid where people have heard insane stories about some merc called “V,” but nobody actually knows who they were. At the same time, I think not showing V is the right move. Everyone has their own V, with different looks, backgrounds and choices. The moment you put one V on screen, that version could start feeling like the canon V. Keep the mystery, and let the anime tell other Night City stories.
