The crazy cannibal Pennywise worshiper was giving real Mr. Simms vibes like in the movie Tales from the Hood; I thought he actually was Pennywise for a second, much like Mr. Simms, who was secretly the devil in Tales from the Hood, especially when he was sitting around the campfire telling the story. But then I remembered Big Penny couldn't hold up. Rather he couldn't touch any part of the meteor that was his prison, so obviously that couldn't have been the case.

I don't actually hate Stranger Things; I liked the first two seasons, except for that filler episode that felt like a spin-off. Season 3 has a special place in my heart, and I don't get the hate for it since it was way better than season 2. I thought season 4 was even better, I also enjoyed 5 but the finale could've been improved; I was enjoying it until the second half. There's a YouTuber with a two-hour video that sums it all up. You can enjoy the season as long as you don't think about any of the gaping leaps in logic.

Maybe just so that it could continue killing off the settlers that were coming through there. They mentioned in the voice over that the settlers will still come so despite it making better sense to make the containment smaller, they may had did that to kill off any settlers that wandered that way.
