Had me trippin when I saw the YouTube video go up before this lol

Even Jinshi be like "These White Women are Dangerous" 💀 She got Snow Bunny Mind Control Fr 🤣 Haven't read ahead in this arc so this is pure guesswork: I think it's another misdirect like Shisui last season. The way Momo brought up that Mercury can be a poison OR a medicine, and the way the show/lady seem to skip town shortly after arriving has me thinking this girl takes the mercury as medication and doesn't realize it kills other people. Whoever is handling her is the true mastermind/villain, though to what end I have no idea.

I do not know how I missed Lahan breaking the fourth wall my first time watching! Omg!

SolvPhoenix

One thing that it seems like they might have missed is that after she left there was a " mysterious chain of food poisonings" among merchants afterwards. So, based on the timing and what appears to be mercury in the cups, it would imply that she did harm other people besides the poor, it's just being done in steps, slowly going up the wealth brackets.

SolvPhoenix

My going theory is that she is potentially behind or in league with the people behind helping either help manufacture the conditions for the lotus plague or spreading that information (like encouraging the cutting of trees for profit, developable land, or usable resources without replanting). And that poisoning the poor to create an "unexplainable plague" and both basically creating a cult following of the richer citizens and killing off some of them is all part of a plan to topple the current power structure or at very least the faith in the emperor . Either for the west to move in, to put someone in league with them in power, or to put someone who wants power in power so that the west can come in and "save" the people from someone "unjust". Probably related to the twins, like they were theorizing in previous episodes. Probably going to have several more problems crop up in the future.

Mew Anime

yeah she woulda got me with that poison sorry bois 💯💯😊

Gilthwixt

She's supposedly from the west which would make her Eastern European, or Middle Eastern at best 🤷🏻

Mew Anime

yeah true that. I forgot the area she was from is based on a mix of like central asia/middle east+east europe (just ignore my prev reply xd)

That episode flew by

Rin Okumura

This show is becoming more like Case closed with every episode and I just love it.

Lea Garrido

Around 3:34. I asked some friends who also watched and they said it didn't feel like a fourth wall break so I could be wrong xD
