i think the show never clarifies what it is on purpose, or whether it would even work/be possible to make something like that. it's meant to be ambiguous on purpose so you wouldn't have a clear side you can choose probably

i watched mr.robot many times it's a show that has aged very well and is still entertaining af. I think yall made it trough the weakest season which imo is season 2 really looking forward to the next 2 seasons! (not that season 2 is bad but in comparison to the other 3 it's a bit lack luster sometimes)

I will say, I for sure thought they jumped the shark when I watched this episode, but in retrospect and given what they do with it, it makes perfect sense. This show is incredibly philosophical.

I haven't finished watching the whole reaction but I'm pretty sure that's a particle accelerator, not a nuclear reactor. Cern is the biggest in the world and there's hella conspiracy theories about it that kinda relate to this such as it creating alternate timelines and stuff like that

So a couple episodes ago when the E-Corp CEO said why he is always so driven to overpower people, I joked with my brother that he is basically the Joker from Absolute Batman. I was NOT expecting to see more similarities to comic books. I thought the constant foreshadowing of alternate realities was thematic and Whiterose being obsessed with time is being real billionaires are also weird. I'm shocked and thankful that I never got spoiled on this.

Just to provide some clarity, that machine is called a "particle acclerator". It has many different applications in real life for discovering new physics. It also used in the medical field, materials science and plenty other widespread industries and applicaions. So honestly, its purpose in the show is anybody's guess.

Hmmmm i feel like elliot is secretly watching this. The part where mr.robot took control n went out with angela. Remember this guy learned the whole "body asleep mind awake" shit. The show's not showing him on purpose to reveal it as a 'plot twist' but i ain't falling for that again! I also hope that the whole timm machine theory is wrong cuz this show shouldn't just turn into that genre...it'd be weird for me.

You missed what the scientist at the Dark Army facility was saying, they told you what the machine is (time stamp: 6:08-6:22): "If I close my eyes, I can imagine that everything we experience, everything we see, think, and do, is unfolding simultaneously in a parallel universe." Its not a time machine per se cuz Whiterose doesn't want to go back in time in this universe, she wants to go to a completely different universe altogether.
