Final episode reaction gonna be crazy when the odd taxi reveal of the cat being human and all the rest of the cast were random pets and animals in the neighborhood he was watching/observing.

If the final episode doesn't show Gapacho, I'm pulling up to the studio

Even if there might not be a romantic relationship in the horizon, at least Taira is taking the steps to a normal relationship without doubt

I was today years old when I found out tsundere direct translates to hot and cold

cyberspacecat

Pretty sure that's not true. afaik tsun means contrasting / opposite while dere comes from deredere, meaning lovestruck / fawning

cyberspacecat

Ah, forgot how it was used in the episode, it's definitely a good localisation of it even if it's not a direct translation

Alan

You might be right. It had tsu which is used for atsui so I thought they might have the same root kanji but if it was it probably have the root for samui which is cold. It still might sometimes they give different sounds for same kanji

I wouldn't be surprised if there actually was some nuanced connection there, my Japanese knowledge could barely be considered elementary, but I know there's a whole lot of wordplay and subtle double meanings in words.

man I totally get what they're trying to go for with Tiara and Azuma but it's just annoying me anyways lol 😒

Wow we’re already almost done… Consider continuing with Ramparts of Ice. A separate story with a different vibe set in the same shared universe as Polar Opposites
