For clarification, Naofumi always saw Raphtalia as her child form this whole time until the end of this episode, hence why he was confused about people saying she'd grown or men hitting on her. Also his taste disappearing after the first episode was from his numbness/bitterness to the world after being betrayed. Great reactions as per usual, hopefully don't have to wait too long for the next eps!

Yeah this is really a good show, I can sympathize Naofumi's anger and and his sadness for what they are doing to him and Raphtalia is his best support both in battle and now mentally, she is the best girl!! Thx again for a great reaction as always and i'm looking forward too next time.

Yeah he was just really down in depression and anger from all that he has went through. So ever since that night with myne when she set him up with that dinner everything she did just lingered on him from her touching him and just even eating. Even with Raphtalia he was just blind to the fact that she had grown and actually cared for him, until she sat with him and talked about everything to get him out of his darkness.

Major reason why I love the anime is because it shows growth mentally and emotionally especially with negative emotions like resentment and betrayal. MHA shows growth with positive mentality like hope all the time, but this one shows from the lowest of lows and a slow build up from there. Some characters are absolute trash and some meh tropes later on, but it's a really well written show for negative emotions and thoughts especially how they affect those closest to you.

I been watching these guys for like 2-3 years. They don't even think about that kind of stuff. If they wanna say something they gonna say it. Especially Lupa when he really gets into a series. I agree it is funny how ironic it is lol. But they would even call it out if they thought about it and make a joke out of it.
