Tower of god is fire. You gonna love it. The manhwa/webcomic is amazing

JsnSkg

Y'all notice how Headon has his eyes and mouth in the same slit on his face? Creepy af. XD

sim

It's a shame they adapted so many chapters (6) and skipped a lot of info, some stuff that was used as foreshadowing was left out, but we will see how it goes next week. Tower of God is sooooo good😤

Alex cleveland

BTW this series will be very long. The webtoon I heard is at s3 and I heard its nowhere close to finishing the story. Ppl who r big fans of the webtoon said it can have more eps than Bleach and Naruto. And ppl compare the world building of Tower of God to One piece. Supposedly this is the best webtoon out of all of them. Def has potential to become one of the best animes in the future.

Buzzlitebeer

it is not a sword it is a needle wrong translation or subs

No it's official black march in anime is a sword... Animator tweeted about this :( It's a relevant matter to world building so I'm sad it's a sword now

Looking forward to many more reactions of this awesome anime.

Ah yes, the classic anime predator with teeth that doesn't know it's supposed to bite and kill its prey first

*slight webtoon spoiler?* It does not exactly affect the story but if you think of why Arie family & their technique are praised for… Not introducing the concept of needle kind of takes away cool factor lol (+ Hatz being a swordsman)

BoomerPlusUltra

FYI they are on the second floor of the tower - the sky is fake. As was implied by the announcer and you’ll learn more this is where “regulars” start their climb. Only irregulars come in through the first floor.

Nothing they couldn't have surmised from episode 1. And will hopefully be explained in more detail in episode 2. It was clear that Ban was sent "to the next floor" but when they saw the sky, Roshi and crew were like - "they aren't even in the tower yet." Just correcting some misconceptions.

Andy-SauceGod

Happy as hell solo leveling was brought up🙌🙌

Webtoons are the future of anime. Watch out for God of Highschool.

Ok so I was confused lol. Headon was making it seem like they werent climbing the tower. He mentioned that Bam was being tested before he could even climb it

BoomerPlusUltra

It's very confusing just from episode 1 of the anime. Just know that Headon gave Bam (an "irregular") an extra test to see if he could start climbing the tower with the "regulars," and that's where he is right now. This isn't really a spoiler, and there are approximately 1 gazillion mysteries left to unfold. Looking forward to watching this with you all!

Shiratoshi

Looking forward to seeing you guys watch more of this. Ton of excitement coming.

ok, I don't kno too much about the show story itself but it sounds like it won't be a huge factor.👍🏽

Trever Mitchell

This was fire. Hopefully they make solo leveling into an anime. The manga is really good. Just stopped at chapter 108. Looking forward to y’all reaction to this show.

Tankakawade

The art reminds me of Devilman Crybaby

Wtf tower of God has an anime? TOG is insane.

Austin Yun

I'm kinda weirded out they made the Black March a sword and not a needle. I feel like that might be a mistake. Anyway I'm impressed how good this adaptation is otherwise. TOG is one of my favorites easy. They kind of skipped over it in this episode but Headon brings it up: his name, Bahm, means "night". It's also a homophone for chestnut so he jokes that it sounds tasty.

Kevin

Well in general they called all skinny swords needles, even the green weapon carried by the lizard girl is called a needle but in the anime it's also called a sword. I think whoever did the translations inherently realizes that calling what look to be mystical rapiers "needles" will confuse many english speaking people. I'm actually fine with it and people who have never read the web novel don't really need to know this difference anyways. It's not as if calling them needles gave some kind of better impact on their power. Honestly I think referring to them as swords is more accurate based on the fighting styles people use them as. If they were literally needles then you'd see everyone poke with them, but in reality everyone swings with them so they are definitely more a sword.

Another webcomic I really want to see animated is The Beginning After the End

jayden

yeah solo leveling is good asf.
