5 Uploads in a day. Lets Gooo!

TheToweringOtakunt

I was super unimpressed with this show in the first episode, but it's growing on me. The second episode has hooked me.

Alex cleveland

yeh I just read sum of the Webtoon of this series and this shit could be the best shonen in the next couple of years if they adapt it right. ToG hype is real broo🔥👀

Marquese DeBoe

What I got from that was the people who live in the tower and the ones chosen by Headon are regulars. I think irregulars are the ones who force the gates of the tower open to get in maybe that's why the guy was saying they are strong.

BoomerPlusUltra

NO SPOILERS IN THIS COMMENT. To be clear - What Lero ro was saying was that people are born and live out their lives in the outer part of the tower (but still inside inside the physical structure of the tower). It's called the residential zone. Some of those people are chosen by Headon to climb the inner part of the tower and they start their climb on the floor that they are on in this episode. This all makes more sense if you speak Korean. The Korean word that got translated into "Regular" (seonbyeolinwon) actually means "chosen" or "chosen regular." Irregulars were not chosen - they found their way into the inner part of the tower all by themselves. They are "not chosen" - which is why the Crunchyroll subtitles original read "non-regular" before people complained and they changed it to match the Webtoon - "irregular." It's confusing because "irregular" means odd or different in English - which is actually true for irregulars in this tower - but in Korean what the author really meant irregular to mean is "not chosen [by Headon]." Hope that clears it up.

TitusAureliusX

Small clarification from the info given in the episode - regulars are the ones chosen (from the outer tower residents) by Headon to go into the inner tower to climb, irregulars are those that don't follow the rules of the tower and AREN'T chosen by Headon

YaBoyRoshi

Yeah I read that sub wrong, it definitely said those who weren't chosen by Headon were irregulars. That was my mistake

BoomerPlusUltra
>>34997490

That's basically it. See my comment below for a bit more on why it makes more sense in Korean.

BoomerPlusUltra
>>34997860

We all commented on the same thing. YaBoyRoshi and crew need to be on their toes or we going to clap back lol.

Kai Lee

This needs to be a 24 episode 4 season show minimum.

Reigen Sama

What i can make out is Headon didn't choose Bam but gave him a test. Bam actually forced open the gate where he met headon. Not sure though I may be wrong

JsnSkg

Rak is basically the Inosuke of Tower of God. XD

Locus Coeruleus

when bam refused to fight rak that reminded me of gon both are stubborn af lmao

This only gets....so much better!!

BoomerPlusUltra
>>34998258

Indeed - I'm hoping this is a huge success and they order more at a time next time. Seems like they are just dipping their toes in the water to make sure it will land - but have some faith in the source material!

Shiratoshi

If I remember correctly Wraithraiser is Raks species not his last name

Trizzy Buzzy

Bam was not chosen he forced his way into the tower

GeneralDisarray
>>34998332

You right. So technically Rachel and Bam are irregulars. Irregulars force their way in, while regulars are born in the tower or chosen by Haedon to go up.

I have been reading this for 6 years and didnt know that until i saw your comment and looked it up...

sim
>>34998258

dont get your hopes up with the current news of anime productions, barely gonna be much anime in june and seasons may be pushed back until *at least* until 2021

Edgar Luna
>>34997448

Honestly hopefully it does so well that they animate most if not all of it because it does not stop getting better

Alex cleveland
>>34997448

@Edgar Luna Facts, they also need to change up the animation cause in s2 and s3 it changes drastically. Which is a good thing and hopefully they don't skip stuff here and there because s2 is very very long so it cant be ur regular 12, 13, 24, or 25 ep season or else the anime will really look like the next Tokyo Ghoul.🤦🏽‍♂️

Really cool to me that shinsoo is like water and there's a lot of metaphors of ships / fish / fishermen. It's everywhere in the Tower. When Leroro says "it lets us breathe" he isn't exaggerating -- there is no air. Just shinsoo. In low concentrations it's like air, in higher concentrations like water. 신수 shin soo - divine water Actually divine is a correct translation but it kind of doesn't have the same connotations. 신 is also the word for a god or the God, capital G, as in Tower of God, and also the holy spirit. Christians though will generally speaking say Hana-nim instead (hana = one, nim = respect suffix, exactly like Japanese -sama)

Heavenly Demonic Emperor

Maaaaaan lol I miss Sheras intro man lol Lupa should've just say "Towaaaaaahhhhhh" and then Shera goes "Of Gaaaaaaaaadoooooohhh"........... Pfffff hahahahahahahahahahababababababababhahahahhahahahha

MHAscrub

Fun Fact: The voice actor for Lero Ro is the same dude who voiced Overhaul.

kurumi Tokisaki

This reminded me of hunter x hunter so much

Dimitri Zackaev
>>35046009

Fun Fact: Rak's VA does All Might and Khun's does Bakugo. I almost expected Bam to be voiced by Deku but nope

jack dylan Mclovin

fyi he was in that hole for a bit longer then 10000 years
