You know, people always shit on this sub-arc because it's treated as a series of fillers, but I always kind of thought this battle between Gon and Killua and Knuckle and Shoot was a clever one. It's interesting because on the one hand, you have Gon and Killua who have the right attitude, but who have not yet developed to the point where they can truly hold their own. Meanwhile, you have Knuckle and Shoot who have developed their abilities, but their attitudes are lacking. What will win out? Experience or talent? From a writing perspective, it's a kind of brilliant bit of interplay.

I really don't understand how other people can't see the value in this sub arc and what it means for Gon and Kill.

Well, Killua and Gon have their own mental weaknesses too. So it was a necessary development arc for everyone.

Damiester

Just to be clear, it's been established that Knuckle would win in a fight against Gon and Killlua BOTH at 100%. Don't get it twisted. You gotta stop underestimating everyone lol.

That last sentence of Chairman Netero in this episode... damn this show is so good!

You guys should react to Ajin on netflix i think you guys would like it.

No, there is Parasyte first, they said they’ll watch it soon.

Can't wait for Knuckle's full nen ability to be revealed. One of the coolest in the series by far

It's just bleedthrough from all the other shows where the protag is always secretly the strongest somehow. Man thought Genthru was gonna be fodder. HxH does a great job reminding you that Gon and Kil are still kids in a world of professional grown ups, no matter how much potential they have, potential is still just potential.

Morel is not a cocky or stupid man, you should understand that when he says that they are a liability, they are right now. Knuckle and shoot are so much stronger than they are, they have insane experience (knuckle mostly) and they have great master (knov and morel are very talented).
