U guys are spoiling us with so much content xD Love it!

Katara's face when old boy calls her kin. 🤣🤣

Mr. Toastman

Aang was always particularly adept at the more spiritual side of being the Avatar. I'm guessing due to his initial aptitude for airbending.

Katara was like, "You aint no kin of mine" lol. Also, water benders are really the deadliest as you will see later on, but it begs the question: How did the fire nation even beat them when their machines are weak against water? Great reactions

Yeah. That’s partly why people didn’t like Korra; she was the opposite in that regard. That’s actually kinda why I liked her, she was different.

Gevin Tipsword

Now that I watch this again the speech that enlightened Bender gave was pretty good.

Sheera you explain some of the most unneeded stuff. So many facepalms watching these reaction lmao

Abel James

Bruh, I have seen this show so many time and I've never noticed the blue spirit mask on the cart!!

Abel James

Y'all reactions are awesome it only gets better from here, cannot fucking wait for you to see it

JayTonne

Love the reactions! Sheera catches things that Roshi and lupa miss sometimes.

Morgan Prophet

man i love that whole speech he gave about everything and everyone being connected

Yup, Aang was great with the spiritual, but slow on the physical bending, only becoming proficient in all of them by the end. Meanwhile, Korra mastered bending pretty much from Day 1, and only needed a couple hints to get the forms for Air down. (moment she unlocked it, she was schooling Amon) But she was horrible with the spiritual and emotional sides till the end of the series/comics.

SPOILERS Korra was a Marry Sue when it came to bending the elements. Sure Aang had an easier time understanding the spiritual side because of how he was raised, but he still had to learn all about the spirit world and the spiritual side of being the Avatar. The entire first series we hear about how it’s supposed to take the Avatar years to master the four elements and Aang doing it so quickly is a rare exception due to the war. There’s even a whole process for finding out who the Avatar is and then you have the repercussions of telling them too early that Aang had to deal with. Then the Korra writers come along and are just like fuck all that she can bend 3 out of the four elements at birth. Fuckin trash no respect for the original writers. I wouldn’t even care if it was that she was able to pick them up quicker than most, but they just didn’t give a shit

Mr. Toastman

Korra mastered 3 elements by 18. Just because she could use those elements, doesn't mean she had mastered them. The first episode is her doing her fire bending mastery test. She's not a Mary Sue at bending, it just wasn't important for the series that her struggle be *exactly* the same as Aang's. Also, the series kept getting renewed one season at a time, so they didn't have the luxury of wasting episodes by showing her mastering each element.

It occurs to me that the reason Momo blows the whistle is that when he's with Aang and he blows the whistle Appa comes. So by animal logic if he's with Appa maybe if he blows the whistle Aang will come.

David Sacks

An insane detail. I always assumed he somehow kept the mask, but how would he.

Metallurgy/industrialization would be my guess. We've yet to any other nations with ships that even began to compare to the fire nations, the tanks are new but the ships and their armor aren't. As we saw during the northern water tribe invasion their catapults don't technically need a bender to function(And their ships run on coal, while water tribe ships use sails and water bending to function) and they still have beast they mount giving them a speed advantage on land as well that we don't really see for others beyond the smaller ostrich things in the earth kingdom and the air benders bisons (Sozins comment answers that latter half though). Water bending is also more balanced and arguable leans more into defense than offensive might than the other elements. But fire has range and speed along with some aoe as it naturally has nothing but offensive strength. Lighting is a specialization of fire bending but isn't shown to be needed to be competent at fire bending. Meanwhile the deadlier aspects of water bending are the higher tier stuff as far as offense is concerned (Bending the water inside of things and even bending ice isn't shown often beyond being used as a wall). Different balances is what I'm getting at.

So glad I joined you here! YouTube is feckin annoying. Random stupid mess like [insert copyright stupidity no one cares about here] for the episode "The Waterbending Master" and this episode is randomly the ONLY episode [Blocked in Country]? Here's a conundrum... How you block a country when I'm almost certain, it was uploaded from the same country?!? Sorry stupid BS pisses me off. Needed to vent. Thanks for the lit af reactions, SO much fun to rewatch with you guys! o/

Sokka: I was looking all over for you! Katara: I was looking all over for you too! Aang: I was chasin' some tail... roflmao
