he dies reading. so wan didnt care. he let him starve to death. he didn't need to kill him as he could not escape so he just let him read until he died.

Rcl

Omg please tell me you uploaded 11

Tessa Iron Heart

I need more videos. I am rewatching Avatar with you guys. It's been a hot minute since I last saw Avatar. I love how you guys all agree that Toph did everything she can and it wasn't her fault.

Jack Mihoff

bruh i feen for these avatars uploads their reactions are so entertaining to watch

Shiratoshi

Aang is on some fuckshit in the next episode. Understandable but still.

Rcl

All the elements can be used in some versatile ways. Fire- lightning, Earth- sandbending Waterbending in all forms of h2O ice, steam and liquid. You will see other bending powers that will be revealed later.

Gabby Boakye-yiadom

Don't underestimate Sokka he may be used as comic relief most of the time but he's the idea man with good priorities. Never even occured to them to find intel on invading the Fire Nation until he pointed it out.

Mo

I hope they aren't upset with Aang next episode. How he feels and reacts is completely understandable to me.

Corey Pearson

I mean technically, Aang had nothing to do with this trip to the library. This was all Sokka and his decision to go to the library for info lol

Corey Pearson

And plus that Owl was an asshole lol. Aang and the others are trying to stop a 100 year war which will save all nations from fighting in the end. If the Owl didn't want anymore humans there, he should of never kept his library in the human world and went back to the spirit world after the firebenders destroyed everything related to the fire nation.

Lalisa Truong

Not just 12, but Appa (and Momo) is basically the last of his culture. He already lost his entire life overnight, and now to lose even more of that AND his best friend? I think it would push just about anyone over the edge...

Davon Thomas

This is where it all gets good. The 2nd half of book 2 is so great

Domi

I already know they're gonna be pissed at aang next episode, but it's one of my favorites

L

No it is completely understandable. It isn't like he will be acting like that for no reason. I would be acting even worse honestly. Like if my precious puppy got stolen after having it for a couple of years I would be so heated I might kill the people that did it. Or at least if I found out some of the stuff happened to my puppy like they will find out later on in the series happened to Appa. I better get my precious companion back the way it was when it was stolen or imma light some asses up.

Domi

Boys entire race was murdered in a genocide, and like he said back in S1E3, him, Appa, and Momo are the last of his culture.

Omega Sirius

I see everybody here worried about how Aang will act next episode and how they will react. Like come on, Aang was very reasonable.

Justin Neason

I don't get some of yall. Aang lost more than Zuko at this point, he gets to act up lmao. It makes complete since why he'd be wylin

Belt Cedd

Toph's blind jokes be too good.

Hoodlum JoeBro

Every Avatar fan knows that from ep 11 onward, it’s gonna be lit. Also, I love that you guys understand why Toph couldn’t save Appa. I’ve seen a lot of reactors try and call bullshit on her not being able to, so the fact that you guys get it is awesome.

SoreDakeNoKoto

Of course she couldn't have. If anybody's to be blamed really, it's Appa, who just stayed in place as they captured his ass. He's usually pretty smart too, not even fucking them up with his tail as he usually does, or even hovering out of their reach

Chai Tea

This episode is one of favorites! I remember having vivid nightmares about Wan Shi Tong as a kid.

Bob The SkuII

God next episode is one of my favorites (I think) from this season. I hope yall upload it soon.

Nick Heiney

Do you realize how tired he was for flying them for hours through the desert! But yeah blaming Appa is very smart lol dumbass.

Danny

the 100 yr war isnt the only war humans had or will have. its not about the fire nation, thats exactly what the owl meant when he said humans always justify their own side no matter what. aang and his crew were no different, the end result was that they were using his knowledge to best other humans.

Mr. Toastman

I don't think it's really about him being tired, so the idea that Appa could have escaped or evaded is legitimate. I just think Appa doesn't like just leaving Aang, unless ordered to.

KM

I'm excited for pretty much every episode left in the show. IT GETS SO GOOD.

Corey Pearson

I think you're missing the point. The 100yr war is the whole point of the series bruh. The past wars doesn't matter and neither does the future wars. The owl was an asshole who was never really opened to hearing Aang or the others out. This was the only war that has eradicated an entire nation and has even upset and put spirits in harms way like the moon spirit and destroying the panda spirits home. Although it wasn't explained that way considering Aang is only a 12 year old boy, it's clear that this wasn't just some random ass war among just humans. You could say that the spirits were just caught up in a war among humans but the fact is, the war itself created an imbalance for humans and spirits. Otherwise, what's the point of including spirits in the show. When you think about it, the whole reason the Owl is even the way he is towards them, is because of how the fire nation destroyed part of his library and abused his knowledge to literally take down the moon spirit. So, it's definitely about the fire nation at this point and stopping the war would benefit everyone. lol Like I said though, the Owl could of taken his library away after Zhao if he never wanted anymore humans in there.

Trenton

These next episodes are gonna be TOUGH I’ve never felt so bad and been so angry at the show then this time when Appa was missing. I really resonated with Aang

Morgan Prophet

i neeeeeeeeeed it (said in spongebob voice)

Joel Braaten

Poor Appa 😭 I forgot the sand benders took him.

Jamontai Bohannon

All that could have been avoided if sokka would have just stayed his stupid ass outside

Jay Herbo

I didn’t notice the lion turtle pic until now I like the art style it looks familiar

Reign

damn didn't know they foreshadowed the lion turtles this early the little things you miss in the first watch huh.

Mugiwara1295

Seems like everyone here forgot about papa's lost days episode bc it shows the he does indeed fight back

Ryn

I just realized, maybe the professor didn't really die. Maybe his resolve to stay with the library and learn for the sake of learning was enough for Won Shi Tong to save him and sustain him (food and water). Clearly, if he's buried with the library he won't be able to abuse the knowledge to get the edge on other humans. Completely feasible, and perhaps he was even taken with Won Shi Tong to join the knowledge seekers in the spirit world( Aang isnt the only one to go there, he's just the one we see able to go there seemingly at will, after he learns to. Sokka, and Iroh have been there).

Allusive Panda

That is a good point but I don’t think that it sums it up well. The point of the library was to enrich the world with knowledge and for the enjoyment of learning stuff just to learn it. In a way you can think of the Owl Spirit being very optimistic and naive. Even after the multiple incidents of this knowledge being misused & destroyed the Owl still wanted to believe that there was room&time for improvement. Hence leaving the Library in the human/physical world. However this just happened to be the last straw that made the Owl bitter, disillusioned and fed up, taking the library away 🤷🏻‍♀️ At least that’s how I see it. From the human perspective this war has been going on for 100yrs and we want to make it better however this Owl Spirit has been dealing human dishonesty & betrayal for so much longer than that. This 100yr war is merely a blink in time for the spirit world.

Zahhak

His fate is shown in korra book 2 episode 10, where korra visits the library
