Reiners dialogue before he transforms is so important to his character. It pretty much explains his whole character right there. One thing that always stood out to me was when he says “ We were just kids” and to me that makes it even crazier that they were young around the time Shiganshina broken down.

I remember when I first saw this episode. My head physically began hurting at the reveal and the flashbacks 😂 My jaw was wide open for from the moment the flag snapped off until the credits rolled. This episode was a payoff I did not expect at all. And Lupa’s reaction reminded me of how I reacted 😂
