Roshi you had me thinking you reached an epiphany but it was just you realizing it was Faye for almost halfway through the episode. That was "Clark Kent is Superman nah" levels of oblivious, you got me tearing up.

John Johnson

Probably one of the best moments in anime history.

Alex

Bruh "Wait that's Faye?!" Truly a Lupa moment LOL. That was so good. Glad ya'll dug the ep!

Jaime Ruiz

That scene of spike being smashed through the window was airing as a rerun in the am on adult swim. I woke up for a moment because of the song and saw that scene and fell back asleep as a kid. It really stuck with me. Ahhh so good.

Delinda Arts

*Faye wearing glasses* Roshi: Hmmm🤔 *Faye removes glasses* Roshi: GTFO!!! What??!!! Loved that moment so much lmao! At first I thought you were being sarcastic but you genuinely didn’t know it was Faye I was dead lmao. Loved this ep man

Ace Overton

Still one of the best rival battles with Spike & Vicious. And you thought that stand off was going to be cool? Nah we play for blood around here

Jack Stiles

I know yall reacting, but I just kept saying in my mind. "Why the hell are you talking during this!"

Yeah. It was always part of the Toonami ads and intros during the late 90s-early 00s.

InnerCityIndigo

Oooo at 12:23, that's the loop in XXXTentacion's song on youtube. Dope

Kristian Thaler

This episode has the greatest ost in history hands down, that fight would not have been as beautiful without those tracks.

That's so dope that [as] still runs this show more than 2 decades later, it truly is a timeless masterpiece

My favorite part about Jett deciding to come to Spike's aid afterall is how subtly done that whole scene is. Man's working on a bonsai, something that you spend years cultivating, and fucks it all up with one mistake of the clippers. Instant regret. A scene a few seconds long with no dialogue tells you all you need to know about how Jett sees his friendship with Spike.
