That's all folks! What a great journey this has been, so sad this is over. Time to read the manga because I like how they set up a whole new arc on the very last episode lol. I'm also super curious about what Kurapika is currently going through so it's time to jump in!

I watch this series with you like once a year, same with your FMBA and I recently added Invincible and Loki to the list. Avatar I watch like 3 times a year. By far my favorite reactor trio, but your solo reactions really feel different and I cannot thank you enough Roshi!

Norman kay10

WOOOW. THIS HAS BEEN A JOUNERY FOR ME. REWATCHING THIS SHOW WITH YOU FROM START TO FINISH IS AMAZING. IT TOOK ME BACK TO MY FIRST ANIME DAYS

wawa

You should definitely check out Hajime no ippo, show is fantastic!

HowardisBoss

Manga readthroughs like you did with the last half of One Piece or just reviews like you did with the first half? I will say the manga is tougher read because so much info is jam packed into a chapter. Like think of the info dump chapters of One Piece being a normal chapter in this series. Super dialogue heavy but super worth catching up.

Waka Flocha Flame

HiatusXHiatus now begins for you, Roshi. About time you joined the rest of us!😂

Eldpool

I am not reading manga and just wating for the possible anime in the future🥺

godUsoland
>>40825812

Trust me, the manga is worth it. Highly unlikely for the anime to come back though. Maybe an OVA

jesse almonte

and so ends this long ass journey we took together. It was fun yall

godUsoland

This has been one hell of a ride. I think I subbed just to watch HxH reactions back around ep 1, and been here ever since. Can't wait for the Manga Read-throughs!

godUsoland

Even though Ging is a piece of shit, he had an amazing life philosophy. “You should enjoy the little detours to the fullest. Because that's where you'll find the things more important than what you want.” I try to remember that every time I get lost on the road of life. Togashi is a genius

Clarista

Pro tip for the manga: Highly recommend you read the series on Manga Plus or just try to find official translations for it. Because the fan translations will ruin some chapters for you most likely. Lots of fan translations add a lot of unnecessary words to the already dialogue/exposition heavy chapters; making the series feel more like a light novel at some points. Official translations will still be long at times, but not nearly as bad.

Eldpool
>>40825812

Yeah, I heard like there are not that many chapters to continue the anime. Thanks for respond man, and even though I don't think I will read manga, I think I will wait as long as I can. And I already saw some spoilers about very interesting moments :(((

DxShadow
>>40825812

i mean, we're getting the Blood War arc for Bleach so anything could happen.

awesomeusername
>>40825034

I think Roshi should do what Rogerbase did in that he does live readthroughs until it reaches the Succession War. That arc begins after THAT fight happens (we all know which one). And before the Succession War there's so many crazy revelations that are absolutely reaction-worthy.

JunpeiFES .

Good luck lol creator only releases 2 chapters a year lol

awesomeusername

I wrote this comment elsewhere but I'll say it here again for visibility. Roshi you should do what Rogerbase did where he did reactions of the manga up until Chapter 358, since a new arc basically begins which is the current one, and it introduces so many different characters, factions, etc. that its impossible to keep up with it and there's an insane amount of pages that are just made up of walls of text. I would say its the worst arc so far in this entire series and it will probably stay that way seeing as no new chapters are on the horizon and its looking to be even more eventful than the Chimera Ants but right now its in a formative stage. Chapter 340 is where the manga picks up from the anime so from 340 to 358 there's a lot of reaction-worthy material and some of the craziest reveals that we would love to see your reaction to. 358 onwards I would suggest reviews, since some stuff still happens but its pretty dry compared to any other arc in the story.

EZ

Love you roshi what an adventure, best reactor on the internet!!

Anthony Lujan

Bro your reactions have been amazing I've seen alot of hunter x hunter reactions yours have been amazing to watch you understood the show like a true fan I'm ready for manga reads you wont regret it its definitely worth the read

Shaw

BEST ANIME EVER!

Joel Braaten

I'm so glad you got experience Hunter x Hunter. It truly is a one of a kind anime. I know when you get around to the manga you'll have a good time reading it.

Nicholas Cheatham

I cant bring myself to read the manga until it's either over or the creator decides hes completely done with it I refuse to put myself thru the limbo of waiting for the next chapter that might come in the next 4 years

godUsoland

5:36 I just noticed!!! The guy in the booth is reading a magazine with what looks like "Parasyte" on it.

Joel Braaten
>>40832479

Also, somebody already mentioned this above me, but try to avoid reading any fan translations for the manga they're not very good. Stick with the official Viz translation.

Damion Middleton

It’s been an amazing journey. S-Tier Anime.

Cassie

It was so fun rewatching this with you!! I'm glad you got to experience it.

MrNoor114

Damn when gon was climbing the tree with a smile, I was thinking that he should have inherited one for all lol.

godUsoland

If you want another epic show, try checking Legend of the Galactic Heroes (1988). It's widely considered a masterpiece space opera. I always wanted to get into it, so if you watch it, I'll gladly follow along.

JG

Seen the ending of HxH so many times either myself or on reaction channels but shees. The ending always hits hard. Always feels like Ging's final words in this episode are concerning the entire anime itself. Gon's only goal was to find his father. But the detours gave us this amazing story. It's just so f-ing good..

Ashe

Whats gonna be replacing hxh?

Wry91

hajime no ippo?!?!?!?!

UnterhosenKoralle

I don't usually comment, but i watch a lot of content from you, and i watched every single episode of your reactions of this show from start to finish, and completely loved it. Not only do I love this show, but also the way you're so perceptive and just a funny chill dude. Like, there are a lot of things that I caught on or understood only at my 2nd or 3rd watch of the show (i'll count watching your reactions as my 3rd time watching the show lol), but you seem to get them just first try. You really don't miss out on a lot and are usually able to follow the plot very consistently. It makes the reactions much more enjoyable that way. I'll miss the HxH reactions but i'll also look forward to Manga live-reads and the next show you (guys) are going to react to. I guess, in a sense I just wanna say thank you.

Chance's House Of Horror

This was a great ride with you! Would love to see Hajime no Ippo next if you haven't seen it yet.

BubbleTea

Ugh it's been bittersweet. Im not crying you're crying

Anonymous

Sad that it's over but it was awesome watcing every episode again with you. Can't wait for what's next.

Josiah

Damn a lot of ppl are saying Ippo and I been meaning to get back into and I only seen the first season and it's fire, but I feel like it's more of a group reaction but idk 🤷🏾‍♂️ I'm still rooting for Monster for a solo reaction 😂

botanbutton

I love Hunter x Hunter so much. I now understand why this one particular Japanese celebrity is such a nutty fanboy of it. lol This is a real passion project, I feel, for Togashi and hope that he'll finish and he does what he wants with it.

JD

As someone who aspires to write stories of my own, I'm left in awe of Togashi's ability to create not just an interesting main cast, but have dozens of enthralling characters and side characters including villains and antagonists. If I can write a single character as good as any of Togashi's I'll be proud as hell.

Sam

Is was a great ride, thanks, Roshi. I was going to ask if you would do a reflection vid on the show but you're one step ahead and said you would. That's awesome, so thank you, again! You'll love the manga when you get to it. Peace!

TheToweringOtakunt

Love that little thing Ging says at the very end. I want to read the mangas past this point, but I don't want to reach the end end. Torn.

maaz ahmed

well Gundam Seed was my anime growing up. maybe if you haven't watched it you could review it. its been a couple of years but from what i remember it was awesome

JunpeiFES .

What a ride, im glad i rewatched this with you roshi, there are people who still do not want to give a shot to this piece of art, which is sad because theyre missing out some complex and nurturing adventures that makes you embrace, be heartful and kinder. Togashi showed us that to create a good story is not reaching the trophy but how you managed to get it on your hands. Thank you roshi 🙏🏼

Ace Spiegel

I stan Togashi. Great videos man 👍

Snatat

My favourite series and enjoyed every week of your reactions. A note though is the manga is insanely heavy on dialogue so might be worth getting official translations. I would recommend hajime no ippo if you have not seen the show.

Bona Fide

Amazinggg journey! I am so excited to read the manga with you. I felt every emotion again. Amazing show and reactor <3

Anoj

This was a crazy and amazing ride. Thank you Roshi.

Jay

Parasyte or re zero would be cool shorter replacements

Viela Guay

Good old HxH the ultimate story of detours from a kid's quest to find his dad

Zenas Langley

You got to see the Chrollo vs Hisoka fight

Doug

I really enjoyed experiencing one of the greatest series ever with you! Became a patron when I saw you put this on your list.

Aisuman

I love this show so fucking much.

Kaleb

You should definitely check out Hajime no Ippo!!! A boxing anime that’s true to the sport and science behind it, but also very entertaining and educative

Alex

Thank you so much, Roshi, for all of these reactions. Through your journey, in all honesty, I've been going through some dark times, dealing with various bouts of depression, etc, and watching this with you always got me out of my funk, at least temporarily, every time, so I'm genuinely going to miss it. Your reactions were always great and genuine, so I appreciate that about you and your style. You're good peoples. Either way, this show's one of my favorite shows. Gon is one of my favorite protags, and honestly, there's just so much to learn from this.. especially enjoying the lil detours along the way. It's such a good lesson> I hope you continue being awesome, and continued best of luck with all that you do. Sorry for bein all sappy! Haha.

vivivanta

I joined your patreon since the early hunter exam arc and man it was an amazing ride. Rewatching HXH with you literally made my whole week perfect. Enjoyed every moment with you Roshi, and thank you very much for the joyful content. Looking forward to other series as well!!

Maurice

I would vote fmab if he wasnt seen it. But yeah read the manga, theres some good things poppin off.

Adam Green

Thanks for the awesome ride with one of the best shows ever made! I enjoyed watching it again for like the 10th time with you. Honestly nothing tops HxH for me except for maybe Gintama. They're like 1A and 1B. I would highly suggest watching Gintama if you haven't! If not on your channel then just on your own time because it is that good

Wheels29

I'm so glad that you enjoyed it. It's my favorite anime because I honestly can't think of a single episode that is below a 9i/10 for me. The show is just insanely good from start to finish.

Shaw

I'm so sad we're done already. T_T

Slicewinds

oh so you will be reading hiatusxhiatus

Ricardo

Tbh im still bummed about Gotoh being killed by Hisoka, its just pointless to kill a great side character like Gotoh who treated Killua as his son. He's a great character fuck u Hisoka, hopefully Killua will get rage mode once he learned that Hisoka killed Gotoh

Jigga Man

What a ride man, what a fucking ride 🙏🏾♥️🃏💥🤛⚡🤛🔘🤜🕷️🐜

Sung In Ko

are we gunna some kind of reaction video for hxh manga? cus i wouldnt mind watching you go thru the manga

Maurice

Check out kengan ashura as well.

The Pebble
>>40874776

I get not watching all the after-reaction discussions, but if you did you would have an answer to your question.

R3APER
>>40825812

Well Bleach actually has an ending though. HxH keeps being hiatus an never coming close to finishing

R3APER

Still can never get over how nobody goes back to collect Komugi and Meruem's bodies. They're just forgotten and left to rot

R3APER

Outlaw Star or Trigun (if you haven't seen it) would be great substitutes for your Wednesday slot. And they're both animated by the studio that made Cowboy Bebop

BeesKnees
>>40890362

Outlaw star is the same studio (Sunrise) but Trigun was made by Madhouse.

Juu

I'm so glad you watched this show, truly one of the best anime ever made, without a doubt.

Trevor

It's been a hell of a journey. Love the reactions on shows that I've grown fond of too. It's just like having a friend watch it so you can see what they think about it. The content is fantastic as always my man.

Ariegch

Super hyped for the live reads!!

Storm Blade

Completely amazing, i would love to see another long watch. maybe something like one piece or another show. (i know you've probably seen one piece, just maybe another long watch.)

Ang

I love that ending, they're all looking at the same sunrise

HesOneShot

After Cowboy Bebop you should definitely watch Samurai Champloo(dub) if you havent seen it already. Its from the same creator as Cowboy Bebop. And the the main dub actors are the same actors from Cowboy Bebop

John K

I wonder if they ever watched 1997 Berserk?

Miki
>>40890194

the entire area was abandoned due to the lingering radioactive effects of the rose bomb. like Chernobyl. so that is their final resting place. but yeah its pretty f'd up

Miki

but does anyone have updates on the hunter x hunter movie is it even out yet???\

Narutofreak94

Oh yes I wonder what you'll watch next?

Miki

oh man just watched the last mission movie....in my humble opinion do not watch it

Hellrell129

Are you also going to watch the movie as well

Anonymous

Can you watch the movies? I love them so much. I'd love to see what you think of them.

EdTheAlchemist

My top 2 shows, FMAB and HxH. Glad you enjoyed this masterpiece. Now enjoy another masterpiece in FMAB!

Nyv

I don't I've ever seen a better ending for a long-running series that hasn't even finished yet

Cody Braim

damn when it started playing the music from the early episodes again I was in my feels

Anthony Longoria
>>41809700

One of the ones that will probably never truly end due to the way the mangas is released unfortunately

Astor Lefflinker

So did Roshi start reading the manga? It's selfish but I actually hope he doesnt, so that the three of them can react to the show once it comes back in 10 years

Astor Lefflinker

Done with the full rewatch with Roshi. That was a wild ride. Damn. Now that the world beyond the world map that was taught to the general population has been mentioned by Ging, I can mention that the prevalent theory is that Nanika (Something) is from there. The character motivations that Roshi mentioned in the discussion at the end of the episode is really what ruined a lot of anime for me, HxH spoiled me a lot because I love that you don't feel like the world revolves only around one character or even on the main characters, they're the MCs but they're just part of the world and it's own story, I really love that.

Master Oogway

ur right, if this was the ending it was a perfect way to do it, even showing the kids adventures doesn't end with finding ging

kristian
>>71876456

Would have been a terrible way to end it. Phantom troupe still exists. Killuas brother still exists??

FictionalAlarm

I felt the same way after I finished Hunter x Hunter. I was so sad that the anime wasn't a part of my life anymore. It's still one of my favorite anime of all time and the first anime I ever gave a 10. It was fun to see your reactions to the journey and reminded me why I love it so much.

Shawn Oxley

Goated series, so glad to have watched along with you
