Only Rem calls Ram sister, everyone else calls her by her name. During the first playthrough no one else referred to either of their name except the twins themselves so Subaru could only call Ram sister based on what Rem called her.

Beatrice remembers Subaru because his restart starts after he wakes up from Beatrice knocking him out in their first encounter.

Great vids guys, the save point is after meeting beatrice , but before meeting the maids haha, Since I’m ep 4 Subaru met beatrice when he first woke up, got blasted out the library and woke up again next to the maids. that’s why beatrice remembers him!

Subaru checkpoint is the second time he wakes up in the mansion, right after Beatrice takes his mana and knocks him out. Which leaves Betty remembering Subaru meeting her the first time and not rem and ram remembering him because Betty was the first person he saw whenever he first woke up in the mansion

Subaru wakes up > Gets knocked out by Beatrice > RESPAWN SET > Subaru wakes up to the maids. Every time Subaru dies and respawns, he will have already met Beatrice once, that's why she remembers him.

Just a Reminder , it Isnt that beatrice remembered him from before he died, its because he woke up , found beatrice room, got knocked out, then woke up again to rem and ram and thats where his save point began.

Don't know if you guys got this but just in case, there are 5 days between when Subaru wakes up to the sisters, and him dying. They say that in the last episode but I think you might have not caught it? Just in case. Love the reactions!

Hey some quick corrections. For one, nobody except for Rem was referring to Ram as "sister". It's just that nobody mentioned Ram's name. and Two: The checkpoint happened after Subaru already met beatrice, and she knocked him out. The checkpoint is after he woke up the second time and met the twins

Baeko/Betty/drill loli only remembers him bc when he first woke up he bothered her, she drained his mana to confirm he is not a threat, then he passed out and woke up in the bed with rem and ram in the bedroom with him.

Just to be clear, his reset point is him waking up for the second time on the first day in the mansion. (After Beatrice sucked his mana out of him and he passed out). That's why she recognized him.

My advice when it comes to watching Re: Zero for the first time is to not get caught up in trying to "figure it out" or treating it like a murder mystery. Pay more attention to the emotional impact of events on character interactions. Thats what the story is all about.
