Hey, language learner here! Kanji is a different system from hiragana and katakana. Unlike the two other writing systems, kanji hold a philosophical meaning with different ways to read them (depending on different factors). In Japan, names are written in kanji, meaning that you can easily misinterpret one's name. In Japan, names can be written with whatever kanji you want and a way to read it. Though, that is less popular. Even Japanese people have difficulty with kanjis, so that's why Shigechi and the tailor had some trouble remembering how the kanjis are written/read.

Just to let you guys know, the baby is adopted into the Joestar's now and her name is Shizuka. Also, Shigechi was created by Araki because he wanted to make a character who'd be ugly and stuff so people could hate him just to bite their tongue when he dies. That man is a genius.

I think the same thing but also I second guess this idea because of the fight vs shigechi where harvest took apart the nuts and bolts of the pipes. Those should all be considered separate objects too right? But josuke was able to put it all back together

My headcanon is that Josuke's ability requires him to have an idea or visualisation of what his reconstruction will end up as. Since he has no idea what Kira's jacket looks like or its material, the button won't return at all.

Watch the opening and you'll notice that they for shadowed shigechi's death with how when he's feeding pigeon's there's a quick scene where kira is cutting his fingernail it overlaps with shigechi's neck.

Shigechi's death is surprisingly one of the saddest jjba deaths at least for me, he was just a lil nigglet he aint deserve that :(

Dam, I just started the episode but isn't it crazy that this kid is one of the smartest characters in this season? Other than Jotaro and the Mangaka Rohan, who are obviously very sharp and intelligent.. but this dumb kid seems like he is the next most intelligent character this season (Referring to how he fooled Kira to escape). That is kinda sad, lmao. Well... RIP, he died.
