This episode was so good in showing war is hell.

Kimblee was spitting facts. They shouldn't forget the ones they are killing or ignore it. Its something they are doing lying to yourself wont change that. Also he makes a point about how foolish it is to think joining the military means you'll never fight. You can find Kimbly is arguably the deepest/most complex character the author wrote. Almost every main hero and villain in the show has some form of philosophy behind them since the author loves that kind of thing the whole series is based on philosophy. Kimblee having one of the more unique ones. Hawkeye also couldn't deny what Kimblee said is true and she took his message to heart all these years later.

Of my favorite episodes of the entire series. 🔥🔥🔥👌🏾

REST IN POWER HUGHES

It's very easy to miss on the first watch, but the "most powerful form of alchemy" Master Hawkeye was talking about, WAS in fact the Flame Alchemy that Roy now uses. This is why Lust and the rest of the Homunculi had no real deterrent for it since they've never experienced it before Colonel Mustang came along.

Correct, he gets a lot of hate on Ep 30 Reactions, but he didn't say anything that was necessarily incorrect. Soldier's should know, if you put on a uniform, you have to be prepare to be ordered to kill. And that for Marksmen, they might deny it, but they would feel a moment of pride in their skills that they honed. Also, the line about never forgetting the people you kill, and never turning away from them, is something I wholeheartedly believe in. If you kill someone, don't run away from it. Accept it. Because there is no way they will forget you.

Reign

I forget why its so strong but yeah its talking about flame alchemy and hawkeyes back has the key to its hidden power.

Order 9066 was the executive order number for the Internment of Japanese Descendants in the USA. I'm not sure if the close proximity is just coincidence or not though. Since 66 is used as a kill order as a troupe.

I don’t know if you noticed, but Armstrong was the one who made the wall to block out the civilian Istvalans from escaping. When they were shot down along the wall he made, is when he picked up the Istvalan child and told them he couldn’t do it anymore.

A bit funny. I think Hawkeye sees that Ed loves Winry because she secretly likes Mustang herself.

Actually, BOTH are a reference to Executive order 9066 by FDR, which sent the Japanese to the internment camps after Pearl Harbor.
