it's definitely a cultural thing... I was reading a Korean manhwa and one of the unmarried teachers got pregnant and they were ready to fire her

Chan Lee

Yep. Definitely true. It's just not in a manhwa but in it is the same in the real life here. It's kind of a Confucian culture thing.

Athena

C-Bridge

the red particles in his eyes was symbolizing that he unlocked his blood lust but its a small portion of it

i forgot just how well written this show was, literally anything you think about in regards to the plot gets brought up in the dialogue

Sheera needs to start acting way more smug when ya'll shut her down but she turns out to be right, lol

The uncanny valley seems the most likely answer to me or maybe mother's can tell something is weird since they birthed them

Interesting. Stephanie Meyer wrote a book called "The Host". I don't know if she was aware of Parasite Eve, but It has a similar premise. Except by the time the story starts, almost every human on the planet had been taken over and the Parasites were already running everything. They kept human civilization mostly the same. As in, they kept the good aspects of humanity and eliminated most of the bad. They also improved upon the technology using what they've learned from other civilizations they've infected. However, once the parasites started having human children, most couldn't bring themselves to let their children be infected with other parasites due to the parental attachment they would form to their children. As usual, in her writing the world building was interesting even if everything else could feel silly and contrived.
