So incase you dont know Japan was closed off for travel and trade for a long time. Only a few ports allowed trade and it was mainly with the Dutch and Chinese. It wasnt till after the period this show is set that the USA opened up japan via bringing massive gunboats with them that basically acted as a way to strong arm the ports open to more western trade. After that occured in the mid 1800s Japan began westernizing more and more and by the time of WW1 and WW2 they were very much global powers. This is also the time that christianity was vilified due to the idea that worship of Jesus would make Japanese think the Emperor wasn't a god. Japanese Christians fought for religious freedom before this series time period and were struck down then hunted. Many became martyrs and the rest went into hiding in fear of being found and killed for their beliefs.

@Jev Cor honestly this is about what I would expect from someone with deku profile pic and name.

>>45573512

Not really copy paste when I wrote it myself lol. Also if I did put it in another place it was also off the top of my head.

Where’s the re zero ? Or did they change the schedule

weebsage
>>45586858

they might've changed the schedule or they're posting later tonight. I've been like periodically checking patreon all day for the rezero and jujutsu kaisen reaction XD

Jojo didn't even come out yesterday like it was supposed to. It came out this morning. They live in Florida and I am just a couple of states out from that so it isn't like my time zone is much different at all. Surely at this point they have an editor or more to help with all the reactions they have to put out so I don't understand why it happens at midnight or the next day. Money shouldn't be a problem with all the support they are getting either.... It is just weird.

>>45586858

If you have a patreon set up like this like many other reaction channels do your priority should be patreon first and youtube after. The people on patreon are literally giving you money out of their pocket for your content while YouTube gets it all free. This is all the more specific when you make a schedule. People are expecting certain things that day and it isn't fair to the people paying if you don't at least give an update as to why the content isn't coming out that day. Of course I am not complaining but it seems more relevant over time while they just add more series on top of series. If you can't keep up the workload and keep on schedule why are you trying to do that workload? It isn't midnight yet though so they will probably (hopefully) upload the stuff for today.

dude typed the bible for nothing serious. sometimes they can only get together at certain times theyve said this before

Kaz Z.

Chat needs to chill out about uploads. This crew doesn't skimp any of us out of content. If it is delayed it is delayed. Just be patient. They always make it up with more content anyways. Compared to any other creator's Patreon this crew gives the most. Just because you give a little money doesn't mean you get to demand how they run things. smh

>>45589108

It's true, I've been on some peoples Patreon on here where they just go dark for three or four days with nothing then come back and post a single episode with some BS excuse. Roshi has never pulled that. Chill.

Jev Cor
>>45586858

This deku dude is annoying. Cringey as fuck when he does this weird role play shit sometimes too.

Jev Cor
>>45572279

Well, rip to JOJO's too then because people were bitching about that last night as well.

Desto Samuels
>>45572279

They usually have updates about why things are late in the discord server. They mentioned why JoJo's was late yesterday.

I agree, compared to other creator's patreon this crew definitely gives us the most content each week. Lol I'm still subbed to their youtube and they're still on book 3 in ATLA while they already wrapped up with korra here we get a lot of content from these guys just be grateful for it

lol guys. late uploads suck but theyve been consistent. It would be nice if they are more punctual and i hope they become that way but nothing to be so mad bout.

>>45589108

Deku, stfu. You're the biggest issue and I see your dumbass doing this same shit on multiple Patreons. You are a mad annoying kid. If your life goal was to make me detest Deku then mission accomplished, kys.

Baren Nerab

Don't worry guys the hints like the holland guy here do come around and its pretty cool how things open up!!

soraya
>>45589108

this is facts, i’ve subscribed to some patreons and sometimes they don’t have the full reactions or any videos AT ALL lmao

jesse almonte

All kabuki actors are male actually, so no deception here

None None

Imagine being an English dub writer. The show's been pretty easy to translate so far, when suddenly they dump an episode on you that's nothing but a long string of a foreigner getting confused by things in Edo Japan and you have to come up with a way to keep it coherent to people who know nothing about Edo period Japan.

Silver

Here's the best translation I can find of the Dutch conversation. It's from an awesome commenter on youtube. (Apparently the Dutch used in this episode is poorly used, so even native speakers had a hard time understanding.) "Chief, we have been looking for you. Come, let's get out of here. But...I don't want to leave [Edo]. Chief. Don't forget that your meeting with the Shogun. I've let them known that you were delayed [because you were sick]. We really can't stay? We can't. I guess it can't be helped."

Silver
>>45693913

The conversation seemed uneventful, but he's painted as the world's first "Otaku," lol.

Oktaygun

Dutch native speaker here, a translation for the dutch conversation at the end: 'Chief, I've been looking for you. Come, let's go''. ''But I... I don't want to go.'' ''Chief, don't forget that the day of your meething with the Shogun draws near.'' ''I've let them know that you've been struck with ilness.'' ''Really not?'' ''It can't.'' ''So be it.'' If some of it doesn't make sense in english, it's because it didn't make sense in dutch either lol

Cody Braim

I've heard that song that played at the end of the episode in soooo many lofi playlists on youtube

Silver
>>45847415

Geweldig. Bedankt voor het delen, Oktaygun. Ik vraag me af of de schrijvers van deze aflevering Google Translate hebben gebruikt zoals ik. Lol!

i know i'm late but just wanted to let you know that samurai champloo is one of the biggest contributors to the lofi genre. nujabes is looked up to as the forefather of lofi, right next to J Dilla (two legends of hip hop)
