This episode is so beyond annoying to me. I can't even enjoy y'alls reaction. Who the fuck decides to confront a possible killer alone? Who?! And why?!??!? I really wanted that girl to die bc its her fault everybody gets killed and then all the dumb ass kids not leaving school. Wtf? Maybe its a japan think cuse anytime my HS had a fire drill or anything event at school more than half the school bounce. But a teacher scream for us to leave, nigga, we would have been flying down the street before we even asked why.

Even if Shimada could change his face and come back later, I'm pretty sure he didn't like the fact that the girl was aware of the parasites' existence in general because she would probably still snitch to the cops which is problematic to the rest of his species. Y’all don’t be paying attention during some pretty important parts unfortunately like when the 2 kids ran away in the school they were wondering why shinichi was so calm it was something a human wouldn’t do and you guys missed the line where they asked are you even human? Because of how calm and unnerved he was then they proceed to look in his eyes and see something was inhumane about him they saw through him hence why they ran away and got slaughtered

It's absolutely not fair to expect someone to act in the best possible way when faced with an extraordinary circumstance. Imagine someone tells you the cops think a werewolf was running around killing people. Putting aside whether or not your convinced that's true, you see your classmate walk out of a public bathroom looking especially hairy. Do you start running around saying he's a werewolf? It really depends on the person but it's absolutely a normal response to confront your friend about an extraordinary claim rather than telling people you have reason to believe their a monster. And since this isn't something most people would think exists it's impossible to claim what would be the more "rational" approach. There are people in the world who actually prepare for an unlikely zombie apocalypse and rationality would say they were morons. In the event that you happen to see someone in a zombie mask and it turns out it's real rationality would tell you he's harmless and only an insane person would be prepared for it.

Roshi is probably right, their nature at the end probably is to kill, parasytes know they can ingest normal food, so thats out of topic. And shimada when panic mode didnt realize why he killed a fly without his consent. Maybe thats a low key theyre meant to kill or maybe is hard to coexist with humans because as soon theyre found out, they feel threated and the first instinct is kill, they cannot think a different way to escape reality. They have to live the catfish life until someone pulls your hair 😆

i mean its actually pretty similar to human instinct. we can live off eating vegetables but choose to eat meat (aint saying this to diss meat eaters or anyone really, i love meat myself). We can get he most basic proteins from other sources other than meat but we CHOOSE to eat meat. Its similar to these parastyes or actually these parastyes dont even know anything about themselves or their own species. its like theyre newborn babies with intelligence and a command in their head saying they must eat/kill humans. some like kyoko just decided to do more investigating about their purpose instead of following a singular command instilled upon them from birth.

No. What a bad take. The police would of investigated him and chosen the best time and place to take him out with minimal casualties. The parasite himself was avoiding needless violence.
