When the king said punish the proxy he was referring to the lawyer Vesta paid off. They just left gobta lol

King Gazel is such a next level badass. Personally, I think at least one of the reasons he booted Vesta was because he realized that his fervor to serve the king was slowly driving the man insane. He seems to care quite a bit about each one of his subjects. It's a shame real kings aren't on that level.

The proxy was the guy that was supposed to defend Rimura and the dwarves in court. He sold out to Vesta and lied about what happened at the bar and that would've gotten them sentenced to 10 and 20 years, so the King punished him too.

Just a note: Proxy was the lawyer that supposed to defend slime and the others but he was bought off. So they are punishing him like they punished the minister.

I dont know if this has been mentioned (comments are messing up for me) but the "proxy" was the defender that was supposed to speak on their behalf at the trial (since they are not allowed to). Essentially he was their public defender. But he straight up said they did all that shit and Kaijin mentioned in a low voice to Rimuru that the proxy "had been bought". Vespa was railroading them basically, and the king knew. He wanted the proxy punished severely since he seems like a pretty just and upstanding king, and those actions were a perversion of the justice process.

Roshi has spoken a few times about Rimuru releasing his aura; but remember that a couple episodes ago, he mentioned how the adventurers didn't notice it. I think maybe only monsters can feel the aura.

The Proxy is the Attorney/Lawyer that was supposed to defend them During the trial I believe, he straight up sold them out for Vesta. Which is Shameful.

The king could sense that the Rimuru wasn't just a slime, that he was as powerful as Veldora (probably sensing Veldora still inside of him). He sent his scout to watch and observe him because you don't let such an incredibly powerful just hang out down the street without knowing what he is up to. What if there are more like him? What if they attack the kingdom? The Proxy was the defense attorney that was paid off. The King wanted him taken care of, cause he was paid off and lied. We don't play that round here lol. And Vesta...he was petty to Kaijin, thinking that he was better than him sense Kaijin was from poverty and he was a noble that was forced to serve under him. He really believes that he was doing the best thing for the kingdom. Which is why he cries at the end when he realizes how he messed things up for the king badly with the slime that created full potions that could save lives.
