That Soul Eater easter egg was awesome! For those who didn't know, when assault was in the club, there was a red haired guy talking to a hostess about how his daughter doesnt like him, which is Maka, the main character of Soul Eater. i love how they gave him a cameo since both shows are made by the same guy

OH SHIT. It's been soooo long since I've seen Soul Eater, but that's cool!

Oui Oui

Man I guess they never watched Soul Eater since they missed that huge obvious easter egg. Also the girl in Amaterasu and Sister Iris are not the same person. Sister isn't gonna be another pillar. I don't see how y'all came up with that

Ep 18 Part 1: Emotions and feels. Ep 18 Part 2: Hilarious shenanigans and fan service. That was quite an episode. I guess this is a calm before the storm. Pretty sure shit's up to turn way the fuck up soon after they gave us this breather. XD

I didn't catch the easter egg and I've seen Soul Eater, but it's been a looooong time since I've seen it. XD Edit: Rewatching it, I'm kinda dumbfounded as to how I missed that. I enjoyed SE, but I guess the ending left such a sour taste that after all the anime I've seen since then, I pushed it to the far back of my mind.

Bona Fide

Lupa said "Haikyu" I'm dead LMFAOO. Also some of these translations off af

Coco

I love how when Sheera makes a sex joke Roshi gets uncomfortable.

Silver

Half a episode of just pure clownery? I'm down

I was thinking about your discussion at the end of how The First Pillar and Iris are connected. I wonder if Iris is a direct descendant of the first pillar and her being a sister deeply imbued in faith is by coincidence/fate, causing Iris' connection to grow stronger with the First Pillar. I feel eventually, Shinra would be able to exploit this connection and essentially use Iris as a Adolla-Link middleman and be able to forcibly connect with his Light-speed.

blickvic

lupasan said Hueco Mundo XD ffs man, you wrong for that lol XD

tweakグー

Assault is said to be strong person but mental game weak

zanderbander

I was really hoping they would've known who Scythe was, but I guess they never watched the OG Soul Eater. That was a great way to connect the universes tho

sim

yall really need to see soul eater after season 2 of ff is done!!!

Devin B

In the first opening of season 2 there is a brief moment where you see Assault looking at adult videos and magazines

Joel Braaten

That 2nd half was hilarious. I'm so glad the Assault chapter got adapted. If he wasn't such a clown he would be a legit problem lol.
