When Lelouch and Suzaku work together they can pull some amazing feats. Perfect representation of the brain and brawn.

Davon Thomas

Man all I gotta say the English dub did this way better. You can really feel the pain in Lelouch's voice knowing he was helpless. also when he uses his geass on Mao. He tells him "never speak again" with such aggression

Barre Bonds

Totally agree, but since I love this show so much it doesn't matter to me if it's in sub or dub.

Thamor

WTF was that...that was Suzaku spinning kick moves.

2Ker

Suzaku's physical prowess is on par of a typical anime protagonist XD but for real he has been training his whole life extensively and sometimes it's a little crazy how fast he is but it isn't completely out of nowhere.

Viela Guay

Lmao I always forget that Suzaku is just straight up a super soldier

Danny

Uh what. The sub is just as good if not better. When Lelouch "thought" Nunnally died, you can literally hear his voice crack and seize out of despair when he cried out her name. Lelouch's sub voice is also deeper than the english version so his speeches when hes zero feel more commanding and charismatic.

Narutofreak94

I wonder if they'll check out the movies on their own time...

Trent Ward

Lupa and roshi had me dying at the end 🤣

Gabby Boakye-yiadom

No slander of the sub it's just preferences. Though I do have to say the Japanese VA really push the dramatics of the character reactions for better or worse. For some it could seem pretty funny with the exaggerated screams at times.

cassherms

Suzaku was Black Widow on that instant 😨

Baren Nerab

ahhh makes sense suzaku being a soldier "if he dies, he dies", pretty much sums it up

JD

Lupa losing his mind laughing always brightens my day. I hope that knowledge helps you cope with his extraness Roshi lol

JD

Suzaku's idea is that rebellion is futile and that if good people try harder than the rotten ones, slowly but surely things will improve. It involves stomaching a lot of fucked up things. You can see how the things he saw in those flashbacks were, to him, how futile it was, and how all out war should be avoided. The smaller scale atrocities are preferable to war, and he hopes his efforts will contribute to there being fewer of them over time. I think he's wrong, and naive, but that's his conclusion (imo). Edit: damn I totally forgot about his inner thoughts being displayed in this episode. Fuck my theories lol

kai

Yall forgot Suzaku Captain America

XerBlade

I had hoped that no one would ever bring the Spinzaku meme up again.

Thamor

You are right, but how it's shown he is breaking EVEN anime physicality logic how any other person in the story moves...then there is Spinzaku.

FragZone

Bruh she already found the table and ended it on the spot without anyone noticing how wet it was underneath lmao Also, I'm pretty sure Suzaku has superhuman strength or something just based on the fact that only he can pilot the lancelot out of everyone else Lloyd has tested it with. It explains why he was able to kick away a machine gun like that lol.

2Ker

Except *SPOILERS* Sayoko also moved just like him since she's been trained in ninjutsu, it's even said on the wiki she's the one person who could beat Suzaku in hand to hand.

Jose silva

Ogi kept her for two reason, first she might know Zero's identity and second Ogi is not the type to kill people without good reason considering at the moment she has amnesia and as to why he hasnt told anyone its probably because if he does they will probably tell him to kill her and he like i said his not that type of person and also he does kind of want to know the identity of Zero that might actually be sort of a betrayal to the group and Zero. so he cant put himself in that kind of danger.

Danny

This isn't very important at all but I always thought Lelouch's command to Mao "Never speak again" was executed strangely. Because under the Geass, Mao should not even try to speak at all. But they showed him attempting to speak but couldn't. idk, it's not a very important detail but I thought it was kind of strange how it was shown.

SugahSpice

It never sat right with me about Ogi and her...something sus about keeping an amnesiac woman in your crib....playing house with a woman who's a racist with her whole heart..knowing she would murk you, your grandparent and the kids if the government told her to, if she was in her right mind

Viela Guay

I mean, Mao technically wasn't ordered to ever try to communicate again, it's just when he did try to, he found that he couldn't speak.

Jigga Man

I think it's an iffy topic because Ogi essentially has life/death power over someone who has severe amnesia. It's a question of would you sentence someone to death who you knew for sure has zero recollection of the crime that they committed?

XerBlade

"it's even said on the wiki" Fix that to the thing that the wiki cited and say THAT is what said it, and you might have an actual point. Wikis are fansites that have received a convenient new name in the modern era that has caused most people to forget that they're fansites. Use it for reference, sure, but the very phrase "it's even said on the wiki" is a perversion of knowledge, treating the wiki itself like it is word of god.

2Ker

There's not really any official places for information about stuff like Code Geass, and multiple places say she is a ninja and seeing how she moves I'd bet she'd be a person who could beat Suzaku. Of course there are others who are also good in hand-to-hand but my point is he isn't a prodigy with skills no one else has.

Jacob Wolf

Joined the patreon when i heard you all were watching this, you all finally past the intro stuff, the next like 8 episode in a row are insane, enjoy the ride

tweakグー

this guys said '' go find a table" LMAO

JsnSkg

Ogi has a whole-ass waifu right now. Lucky af. Let's hope it lasts.

CRuEL_WOrlD

This man Suzaku is a typical shonen protagonist

CRuEL_WOrlD

If i train my whole life can i dodge bullets too? Lol i need to get started on my saitama workout asap.

Jdogzero Silverblade

well no actually. the typical shonen protagonist accomplishes things by himself or with his group mainly. if zero never showed up then he would have died an old man having done nothing with his life and changed nothing. zero made him pushed him and is the only reason he moves up. suzaku is a naïve moron from start to finish of the series that never changes.
