when C.C. touched suzaku's machine, she didn't see anything from Suzaku's side. That was just an mental interference on Suzaku that she gave him, almost like a mental shock of memories. She didn't know it was Suzaku either. And yeah, Lelouch is going hysterical and we alll love it

Lelouch isn't heartless guys. He may act as if he doesn't care about his student friends when it comes to his ambitions. But proven from the whole incident with Shirley it says otherwise. Plus, Suzaku as a childhood friend wouldn't make the call to kill him so easy.

yeah i think thats the big difference when people compare him and light yagami. sure they were both slightly crazy characters who did almost anything to achieve their goals, but lelouch still has things he cares for. His sister being his top priority, but he still cares for his friends, suzaku and the student council members. Plus we all know Lelouch, although a very calculative and strategic person, still has alot of pride. There were things he wasnt willing to do. He knew Geass twisted the hearts/minds of his victims. When using it on enemies or strangers, he doesnt really care but you can tell how hard it was for him to use it on his friends. It wasn't until it's completely inevitable that he used it on Shirley and Suzaku, two of his closest friends. many people call the student council members irrelevant or unnecessary but I find their existence very crucial, especially to understanding Lelouch's character. They almost represent the "normal" part of Lelouch. One of the big themes of this show is the many masks of Lelouch. The mask of zero, mask of school, and the mask he wears at home with Nunnally. Which is the true Lelouch? Is there a fake? As Zero, he acts arrogant, commanding and ruthless. In school, he acts bored, nonchalant but still remains that pride of a noble. However, in front of Nunnally, he's the kind older brother that tends to her every care. He's been taking care of her since he was banished and her blinded. That's like 7-8 years he's been pretty much doing his best to make sure Nunnally lives happily. So imo I think these school events that most ppl write off as fillers or unneeded are actually pretty important.

Couldn't have said it better myself. I don't blame the interpretation of Lelouch because that's how most think of him at first and as the series goes on it all pieces together. It's still a bit early to talk about Lelouch's depth in character. I just want them to know he's not as trigger happy to kill off any that stand in his way because he does have his principles and morals to certain people.

my understanding was someone else does their editing so he just gets a copy of them reacting then edits in the footage later. or Roshi himself does that either one. I think roshi does the patreon stuff and then someone else does the youtube.
