This one has the wrong episode title (1 when it’s 2)

D DuB

Yo shout out to my favorite negros on Patreon. Love you niggas. Also y’all need to stop capping and watch dragon prince.

Gabby Boakye-yiadom

Suzaku just hates Lelouch for killing Euphy it's that simple. To which yeah I can see how he'd hold a grudge.

Drakuse

Fuck suzaku fr

Devin B

Lol it really is that simple. Suzaku has no sympathy for Lelouch and he was the first person Suzaku really wanted to kill after the whole Euphy situation.

2Ker

Suzaku is different this season, Lelouch his oldest friend manipulated people and caused wanton death and destruction and scapegoated Euphemia to kill thousands of Elevens and then killed her in front of him so yeah he's angry as fuck. He hates Geass more than Lelouch though since absolute power corrupts absolutely. Suzaku tried doing things like Zero by killing his own father 10 years ago but it led to the enslavement of all his people. He is traumatized and wants no more war and believes it's better to change things slowly but surely. People just like to hate on him since they see the story only from Lelouches perspective.

Gabby Boakye-yiadom

Through multiple watchings of this show I've been more inclined to Suzaku's plight as an individual, his actions make sense for what he goes through. But in the grand scheme of things his actions make him look at worse petty and on the surface foolish. It is a matter of fact that Suzaku just isn't the MC, Lelouch is and is the one making the big gains. I feel bad for him but his problems are small to the big picture. In a different story you could see the two as more even foils to the other but the show primarily gives Lelouch the favor for what is to come.

Danny

Ight so don't forget that Lelouch (in Suzaku's eyes) used geass on Euphy to masscare tens of thousands of Japanese to further his goal and pretend to be the hero. Even if we knew it was unintentional, he did not. To him, Lelouch sacrificed Euphy to play the false messiah all the while killing tens of thousands others. He has a right to be mad. And while hes still a lapdog, he is now one of the most powerful figures in Britannia. The Knights of the Round are the highest ranking soldiers that can only be commanded by the Emperor himself. Not even a Prince or Princess can order them to do anything. That's still a hella big leap even if he's still following orders, he has a lot of power now. Also, Kallen doesn't know the limitations of Geass so she wouldn't know that he could only use it once (and that he used it for questioning). In her mind, she was basically thinking "am I being controlled right now? is what I'm thinking or feeling even my own?" Since we the watchers know that she hasn't, Kallen doesn't, hence her doubt and fear.

Johnathan Era

yeah suzaku has always been an idiot. and he never had a chance to do anything the way he wants to do things. lelouch is right. his way is the only way. but at least suzaku isnt as much of a panzy this season. hes a lot better. not because hes right. just because now he doesnt second guess himself.

2Ker

Well he definetly is somewhat naive at times, he's not supposed to be the most stable individual. I just feel like people give him too much flak.

Devin B

Just to add on to your point, even before he killed his dad when Suzaku was young he already had it in his head that the actions that his dad was potentially going to take would be wrong since it would've been similar to what Lelouch is doing now and decided try and minimize whatever potential damage his dad's actions would've caused by killing him. If you think about it if someone tried to do the things that Lelouch did without Geass the losses would've been even greater than what it is now.

Nana

Yup it’s understandable but it still is and it will forever be fuck suzaku

Danny

I agree that Suzaku is a prick for 90% of this show but there is no "right" way to go about this. What was Lelouch's way? Pretend to be the hero and massacre tens of thousands of innocent Japanese, kids, women and babies to further his agenda? Or his original intent, which was to work with Euphy on the Special Zone. Even Lelouch in the end, agreed that Euphy's plan is difficult and there's a good chance it may fail but he was willing to give it a try because it involved the least violence. Nobody said it was easy but the possibility isn't zero. So in technicality, Lelouch was planning to work with the Britannians, just like Suzaku. If the massacre didn't happen, who knows what would happen. There is no right or wrong way to the solution. We could only do what we can and believe to be right but regardless, there is no correct path. That's why I hated Suzaku in the beginning because he kept claiming that his way is correct and just, I did not hate him because he sides with Britannia but because of his self righteousness. Lelouch understood the cruelty and evil of his actions. He manipulates the Black Knights (pretending the JFL suicided when he was the one that set off the bomb, essentially using them as live bait to give himself an edge over the enemy forces - a great strategic move but still heartless), uses his Geass to force others to his will (literally makes them his slave) and will use any and all methods to achieve victory even if it meant killing innocent civilians. The only difference is that he owns up to his actions and understood that his path is showered with blood and evil. And he still resolved himself to walk through it. It's not the side they represented but the mindset that separated these two.

Tan Vu

So from what I gather since S1.... probably geass are all mind related. So it wont be something ridiculous like shooting beams out of your eyes or firebending... Its likely that all the power will be related to the MIND such as MIND READING, MIND CONTROL, MIND REWRITE.... etc. dat kind of thing.

Amberyl

Exactly, I would absolutely hate my best friend forever if he or she killed the one who gave me a reason to live in the WORST way possible. I disliked Suzaku for a lot of obvious reasons, but he is also what makes this show as good as it is. He is someone I love to hate and hate to love.

None None

You'd be pissed too if your best friend mind controlled your girlfriend into committing genocide on national television against her will, undermining everything you've done and making sure she goes down in history as Britanian Hitler. It's amazing he had the restraint not to blow Zero's face off after that.

LJ

I just really don't like his reasoning that his way is the correct way. Yea Lelouch is violent and manipulative but he knows that and owns up to his actions. Suzaku's self righteous ass thinks that his method is correct when in reality, he's just as bad as Lelouch. The Japanese are literally being shot up by Britannians left and right and he still thinks that what he's doing is right.

Jaeboleann

Lol forever fuck suzaku especially this season I get it but still fuck em

clement

i like the yeahhh syncronize lol

J. J.

Lelouch is a prick, he literally had a superpower and still gets his ass clapped. It's funny how many times he needs to get saved by plot armor when he's supposedly "smart"

Fooni

Suzaku is ass, idgaf what anyone says. Before Euphie he was still ass.

Anonymous

Weird voice Chinese official is a eunuch, a guy with no balls. If China didn't destabilize and lose its royalty, there would still be eunuchs because they could be trusted around the emperor's harem, so they end up embedded deep in the palace and rise easily to power.

2Ker

I'd say he kind of forces himself to think that way, he's been burned before so he believes this is the best way while all the options suck.

2Ker

So what do you want him to do? Win all fights with this superpower that clearly has limitations? He is extremely smart but you can't bluff your way out of every situation.

J. J.

Holy fuck I forgot how bad Suzaku shit on Lelouch this episode, he had the prick in a straight jacket where he belongs LMAO

J. J.

I find it hilarious they completely forgot what Lelouch did to his own sister. They're so biased it's not even funny. Lelouch could shoot Nunnally in the face and these guys would still think he's a good guy.

iffybluecutiee

What are guys on about? Before Euphy, he's always been a delusional bitch. Saying he's gonna change things from the inside... Yet, he's always been somebody's lil bitch! He hasn't made not one step towards changing things! ffs

Amberyl

100% That's why I really hated Suzaku at first though I absolutely see where he's coming from. But that self-righteousness and lack of self-awareness annoyed me about him. Yeah, Lelouch's methods are worse than siding with Britannia, but he acknowledges his wrongdoings. He knows what he's doing will cause more bloodshed, but the future he wants comes with a cost. He refuses to let any lives be in vain.

Dune

It's easy to hate on suzaku because he's basically doing the blind justice thing even though he's japanese but lelouch is no better than him. Yeah britannia is a piece of shit for how they treat the japanese but at the end of the day suzaku and lelouch are just doing what they think is right.

XerBlade

Granted Suzaku's thing he thinks is right lacks any and all actual forethought. Every decision he makes really comes from his self-destructive tendencies that he justifies with a bunch of BS. Sure, his way *seems* to be kinda making some headway if you try really hard to ignore the big picture, but, let's face it, he lucked into every bit of that because of Lelouch setting up literally every perfect opportunity for him to advance.

J. J.

Lelouch didn't make any headway either, instead he got a bunch of people killed, murdered innocent people and didn't advance anything. Neither are perfect but Suzaku doesn't have a body count miles high for some daddy issues. Ironic talking about "luck" when you get handed a superpower and an unkillable plot device attached to your hip.

Chris

Naw i have to agree with their sentiments on Suzaku. The moment you accept your people being oppressed and massacre in the name of working within the system to change...the system is not worth saving. That's when the mentality of organizing, killing, and fighting to the death need to come in the forefront.

Max Murillo

The change from S1 to S2 is that Suzaku has accepted that, much like Lelouch, he needs to sell his soul to the devil if he wants to make any headway. Also "Didn't advance anything" my behind, the Black Knights were literally the biggest political event of that decade. 's like saying the Mahdi Revolt didn't ammount to anything.

None None

Fighting to the death would accomplish fuck-all when the dudes you're fighting against are on the verge of having the entire world conquered. In a best-case scenario, you just swat them out of your country until they have the resources to come back with more guns. Your options are either to gain enough standing with the overlords to talk them into lightening their grip on your people, or your do what Lelouche is doing this season and bank on them losing the global conflict (and only Zero really has the power to influence the later).

ThePaleBlood

he was about to reclaim japan and suzaku ruined it... leading to the unjustified slaughter of thousands of innocent elevens

Norman

Jojos is on Thursdays bro plus the stand fight that is coming is 4 episodes so I’ll probably wait for it Friday

YungBedee

What y’all mean “all of the sudden” with Kallen lmao they were straight showing titty and ass in the first season

J. J.

Its unjustified whether he succeeded or not.... He wasn't going to reclaim shit, did you even watch the episode? He literally ditched "Japan" for one person, he murdered a bunch of people then left his men in the middle of battle. Straight loser.

Prinnigan

Yo can either you or you and Shera watch Rick and Morty? Those would be funny reactions.

Chris

I did not say fighting to the death!! I said the mentality of fighting, rather than be content living as a whip slave or be apart of the genocide of my own people. And secondly this show only shows 2 perspectives, 2 point of views of solving the problem.....Suzaku and Lelouche and these are the only 2 options there are? Really?? Very narrow point if view.....and dominance based on oppression doesn't last, history proves that. But my original point was, I lean towards fight the system from the outside.

Justin

Yo I’m so excited for possible young justice reactions

Jamal Laquari

Bruh I was sittin here thinking who tf is table chan then it hit me now i cant stop laughing

JsnSkg

"Over"sexualization? Wow. How did you get through Prison School? XD How can she "put her ass down" she's already sitting down? Y'all need to chill. It's just an ass LOL.

JsnSkg

Fun Fact though: Same VA as Kishibe Rohan from JJBA: Diamond is Unbreakable (also currently Getou in JJK).

Danny

the unjustified slaughter of thousands of japanese was lelouch's own doing...and the battle was lost when lelouch left the battlefield.

Danny

I personally also agree that fighting the system from the outside but I don't think Suzaku's way is off either. Because, as you can see from the end of S1 that it was almost going to succeed. He was about to let Japan retrieve its independence back. While you are still a dominion of the empire, at least you will be able to go call yourselves Japanese, and even have equal rights. Of course, the downside is that you don't know when that peace may be destroyed but the same could be said of Lelouch's approach. If he loses, then everything gets worse for Japan. More people die for nothing and discrimination will be even greater than before. Neither way is perfect and neither is right. Both have their flaws.

J. J.

Ah yes lets go full on terrorist instead, blow up your own people, and set them up to get massacred and end up with no results and putting them in a worse position than ever. Suzaku's method doesn't work overnight, change is slow much like in the real world but at least Suzaku is actually fighting for Japanese rights, Lelouch is just using them to push an agenda, he proved it when he left them for dead.

Chris

Hmmm working outside the system does not imply go full terrorist. Terrorist is thinking in the extreme to solve the problem, but this was caused by Britannia...bringing into play the law of cause and effect...one extreme will give birth to another extreme on the opposite end. Britanna gave birth to Lelouch. But whether you fight within the system or outside the system you don't have to do it from an extreme point of view. Me, I'm with fighting outside the system...I could never side with a system (to fight inside it) that is willfully subjugating, oppressing another people...and really making them slaves...but not from an extreme point of view...

Tsunami Wave

Suzaku is the worst type of person. Sees that the emperor can erase memories and still follows him. If Suzaku ever decided to actually stand for Japanese people instead of Brittania for a second he'd get memory wiped and placed right back where he was like the dog he is.

Thamor

So funny how they reacted only now about Kallen's butt being shown every time she is in the knightframe.

Coran

You should watch the show yourself before watching their reactions.

Coran

Mainly because the subtitles on these videos are fucked up and not correct

CRuEL_WOrlD

Oh now look at Suzaku, the jew is now working directly under Hitler's orders. Disgusting

CRuEL_WOrlD

Lelouch should have just cast geass on everyone in the school to shove a can of soda in suzaku's ass until he dies....

Reign

i love how yall were like "THE WORLDO!!!" when Rolo was teleporting around. Because thats exactly what his geass power is lmao

Gigi

How tf do ppl genuinely stand up for suzaku in these comments. Y’all wack, he’s flawed, SUPER stubborn and to top it off dumb af. Such an annoying character but he’s essential to the story unfortunately
