What’s the akudama drive schedule?

clay

yeah does anyone know the schedule for all the new shows ??

Tay

it really does feel like a anime version of "now you see me" so far shout out to the editor lol, heard about this show but probably wouldnt have watched it on my own

tacoloco

why is this in dub? shows ass in dub

tacoloco

It ruins the funny moments because not all of the cast are English at all. Not to mention the mc is Japanese and his English isn't supposed to be good yet he speaks perfect English randomly

Prime

I mean... it makes more sense than the entire cast speaking Japanese.

6CatsInAnAlley

I know Lupa is gonna like this show because there are a lot of cat lovers in it

tacoloco

Half the cast is from other countries it makes sense for the pros but the mc is a literal newbie who somehow now speaks perfect english

Professor00

So what made you decide to watch this show dubbed?

DjinnBae

Sub is better in my opinion due there being a running joke of the mc having horrible english

13

Two things. 1. The show does a good job of explaining everything so skip comments until the end of each arc. And

13

2. Maybe consider turning on subs? First time watchers might have a bit of a hard time following the show while trying to hear you guys talk

Reminder

PLEASE DO SUBS

TheBagSenpai

I watched this subbed, loved it. I'm usually a sub only guy and hate dubs, but the dub for this one is so damn good. Not to mention, when the Japanese characters are speaking in weeb, they switch back to the original voice actors. No need to switch to sub, keep it how it is now.

HeMustBeKawaii

Really hoping you guys switch to sub, mainly because the acting is just much better and the subtitles being there will help for people who can't hear what they're saying because your talking over it. Honestly, you guys should do a pole like you did with Code Geass. Nonetheless, watch how you guys want to!

Cleven Anthony

Idk if there’s any relation but your Mc n tokichiro from nioh 2 were called hideyoshi lol kinda of the same rise from nothing

Jonathan Jackson

I prefer the Dub personally. If it makes it easier for you guys to catch things while reacting then switch to sub, but I feel like the Dub just fits alot better with the setting and characters.

War2244

I prefer sub, but I've heard the dub is good for this one. Up to you guys.

Kristian Thaler

ah, the great sub v. dub debate. It will never end.

War2244

Do a poll and see what the community wants.

Marissa Johnson

I mean other than that running joke, i think the dub voice actors fit the characters a lot better in my opinion

godUsoland

Love the Dub, the accents fit perfectly. Looking forward to more!

zaphyre

Honestly this just makes me want for you guys to watch BANANA FISH as well

Ranginald Vagel

Don't forget the director drug lord has a MAGNUM DONG

Cablemonkey

The dub on this isn’t bad so far. I always watch subbed, and this was no exception, but the dub is decent. Maybe the variety of accents helps. I’m curious to see if they keep some if the other languages (not English or Japanese) that are used later (not really a spoiler).

Roma

The dub for this show is phenomenal. There are very few dubs out there that I can tolerate because of either cultural differences or the outright lack of emotion. Great Pretender is out there with Steins;Gate, Bebop and Black lagoon.

If you like this i suggest you check out leverage it not an anime but is kind of like this

UnderYourPannies

Ugh, dubbed works fine for some shows like DBZ and Full Metal Alchemist (these ones actually fit the characters properly) because the tonality of their voices fits well. However, the dub for this show just takes me out of the experience; if you compare the tonality of both, you will see that the manner in which the original voice actor speaks feels more grounded compared to the dub. Compare the heaviness of the sub voices in tense scenes to the dub one and you will know what I mean. That being said, I love your reactions. If you switch to sub, that would be more enjoyable but if you stick with this, that's still fine.

Sub > Dub for sure

damnjerick

I wanted to watch this with yall but not in dub lmfao (edit; no offense, just aint my thing)

Yuot

Well I mean that same logic goes towards most other animes. For example, most of the attack on titan cast excluding Mikasa and her mom, are all based on German and more European countries wouldn't it make sense for them to speak German? Instead, they all speak fluent Japanese.

Anonymous

Would you guys consider doing sub for this?

Anonymous

Actually could you guys please do the sub? When you guys talk it's hard to hear what they're saying but at least with sub we can read. Should do a poll. But up to you guys! Love you all

Dayta13

You guys reacting to this anime made me realize Lupa is a bit slow

Eli Kisamo

I don't understand. Laurent didn't send the girl to Edamaru's room. And she didn't drop any hints that she was tryna smash. Where are y'all getting this information from? What am I missing? She almost choked bull out. That's literally and figuratively killing any boners. xD

Alvin Smith

cause he was like "i left you here to convince him" pretty much implying that

rickie woodson

my point of reference is the british tv show "hustle". a group of con people who do a different con each episode. its how i was introduced to the whole "newspaper dolla dolla bills". such an amazing show!

Chibble

This is hilarious, I literally was thinking the same thing while watching this. The whole monologue that Abigail gave felt very much like a similar quote from one of the earlier episodes of that show as well.
