Imagine being Nunnally in the year prior, trauma induced blindness with no idea of where her brother is. Suddenly whisked back to her royal family to be used again. Then at present to be a Viceroy for Japan where her sister Euphemia was said to suddenly gone crazy and executed. And still having the ambition to carry Euphy's will to continue where she left off in their agreed plan. She's underrated for how much strength of will she has.

Isn’t it a bit ironic? Literally everyone achieves more than Lelouch just because of him. Suzaku becomes a knight by capturing him. Nunally becomes governor/general after being taken from him And he's just Zero

No matter how many people Lelouch kills or how many lives he destroys, the fact that all of his actions are driven by his love and desire to protect his sister make him one of the best protagonists, right up there with Tanjiro and Nezuko.

to me suzaku and lelouch are just the personification of lelouch's quote " Do you stain your hands with evil to destroy evil? Or do you remain steadfastly just and righteous even if it means surrendering to evil?”. For me the only difference between suzaku and lelouch is that lelouch is willing to manipulate and kill anyone even innocent bystanders. I don't agree with how much hate suzaku is getting, because suzaku has a plan to save japan like lelouch, its just that he wants to save japan without the deaths of innocent people.

Except suzaku is still hypocritical because even if he doesn't personally slaughter civilians, he is actively aiding a faction that will do so with little regard.

I remembering how much harder this was to watch as it went on.... understanding both sides, but more or less still rooting for the main protagonist because that's just how it is. It's a similar feeling to Breaking Bad. Like, selling meth is illegal, but you can't help but root for Walter White because he's the main character. Also Jesse Pinkman was hilarious.

The whole theme of this show is that Lelouch is a LIAR, but he promises never to lie to his sister no matter what. Its idealistic, but its what helps keeps him sane.

Man I get not liking Suzaku but y'all way overreact to him. I don't get how you can call him dirt for using Nunally while in the same sentence praise Lelouch who at this point is objectively a far more evil person than Suzaku. Like if you're gonna constantly complain about Suzaku I feel like you can't praise Lelouch for being a mass murderer and manipulating so many people.

Cause Suzaku act like a good person, he wants to be looked as a good person even thought he does evil things, while Lelouch knows he is evil in his bad plans but just doesn't care.
