mitch anderson

only one episode of young justice this week?

haywood banks

So it was mentioned back in a season one offhand comment that the noble who he saved in the ep1 chess match was the one who got them them their first base and his suit and then was told to forget this ever happened

Devin B

To be fair though Suzaku wasn't wrong about Lelouch turning Nina/Table-chan into how she is now since he did cause the chain of events that led him to kill Euphy

Gabby Boakye-yiadom

Say hello to Schniezal the only other smart guy in the room other than Lelouch.

Devin B

Yeah it was the same old guy that he saved back in ep 1 that made him the suit but I really do wonder how he was able to make 1 million suits since he can't Geass him again to make them

Devin B

I remember Roshi posting a comment in one of the Code Geass reactions saying that it was going to be 3 eps a week since its taking over the slime time slot

Gabby Boakye-yiadom

Hard to sympathize regardless Nina is the equivalent to a crazed fangirl who only got attached to Euphy because she was nice. At least Suzaku knew her personally and was in a relationship so his grudge makes sense. Nina talked literally once to her and became obsessed, it's ironically shallow of her as she loves the idea of Euphy being this righteous person who looks out for her when she hardly knows her.

Yeah thats one of the things I've noticed having watched this show so many times upon repeat viewing you catch so much little stuff that hints at other things that won't pay off until episodes later

Sori

I just checked it, it was mentioned in chapter 4

Amer Noor

I like how Lelouch kills euphy, tarnishes her name and kills bystanders, but roshi hates suzaku because he has a different plan then our protagonist. Even if you don't believe in suzaku's plan at least he didn't murder innocent people with his own hands. lelouch only cares about results were as suzaku wants peace using correct methods. Personally I agree with lelouch, but in no way do I hate suzaku for not blindly working with the man that used and killed his girlfriend.

Amer Noor

Suzaku's plan is to become the knight of one, wich would allow him complete control of one country (japan).

Danny

^^^ this man here got the right idea. I disliked suzaku for the the majority of the series too but after the stuff with euphy I could at least understand why he was pissed off at zero and didnt blame him that much. even his plan to be the knight of one was plausible (at least he has a plan now compared to s1). Still a lelouch fan all the way during the series but i never hated suzaku after s1 since I feel his character is more tragic than anything.

Comment before full watch- To answer your questions, Lelouch got his original suit by the person he is associates with that arranges his gambling chess matches with nobles and the like. He geassed him to forget about creating the costume. That said, he could not have made all those other costumes later on. What happened here was, the plan was advertised amongst the black knights and japanese pop'n, there already was a market for zero costumes among the japanese after they declared themselves knights of justice back in season 1. We see kids running in the streets playing as Zero. they may have also been asked to make replicas with some scraps, poorly shown with the differing colours of zero costumes everyone wore. Similar to when they recreated Prince Clovis' Escort Van

David Emerson

Yo fuck Nina.. She's a damn Racist through and through

Kristian Thaler

Zero has been a celebrity for a couple of years now, so it makes sense that there would be tons of zero costumes. They probably just bought the costumes in bulk from Halloween Express

Viela Guay

I mean, the real answer is they probably just put in an order to China or India.

Ranginald Vagel

Suzaku and Lelouch were separated during their childhoods while Lelouch was mastering chess, I'm sure he knows Lelouch is good at chess but there's no reason for him to immediately assume that chess = Lelouch.

ThePaleBlood

am i the only one hearing a buzz in the audio?

Amberyl

100% I developed a lot of sympathy for Suzaku after seeing this series so many times. I'm all on Lelouch's side and don't agree with everything he does either, but I don't Suzaku because he's chose a slippery slope to gain peace. In the end, they both wanted the same thing but just couldn't see eye to eye.

XerBlade

Can I just mention real quick that Schneizel's final move was an illegal move in chess? That wasn't throwing the match, it was making a mockery of the game of chess as a whole.

Gigi

nina's a whole psycho bitch, she needs to die

Joseph R Brambil

ya I thought that was a weird point by Roshi. A lot of people play chess, especially tacticians

Aldebaran

Also a selfish, bean rubbing, homocidial maniac. she tried to nuke the city with her classmates near and without knowing if zero was there, like wtf.

Amzee

She isn't even idolizing the real Euphy. She's just obssessed wit the idea that someone royal and beautiful would ever look out for her. Euphy was obviously for the SAZ and for better treatement of the japanese and yet Nina stayed a racist, even questioning in season 1 why her perfect Euphemia would name suzaku her knight and establish the SAZ (she stayed racist towards Suzaku until the end, comparing his feelings towards euphemia with Nina's is laughable)
