Someone already mentioned one call back to season one with Tanaka with the keys, but I thought the other call backs were nice to see too. ( Hinata and Kageyama both wearing their middle school colors when they saw each other again and Kageyama asking Hinata what he's been doing for the last five days as opposed to the last three years in season 1.)

Exactly, these guys always think it's about being cocky when it's the opposite. Kindaichi regretted his actions even though he was pretty justified. He was indirectly asking Hinata how Kageyama was doing because he didn't want that one moment to scar Kageyama who he knows is a talented player.

When I was about 7 I was racing my cousin once to reach the front door first. I won, but I couldn't stop my momentum. The right hand I had used to reach out for the door smashed through the glass window pane on it, and a jagged edge ripped my fore-arm open by about 6 inches. I immediately tried pulling my arm out of the window, resulting in three more U shaped scars, sort of like three rainbows in a row, though one was twice the size of the others. My mother, only 23ish at the time, was obviously freaking the fuck out, wondering what to do. My super chill great aunt, however, convinced her that I was fine and only needed to rinse it disinfect it and wrap it up. I never went to the hospital or got stitches for it, and it is still clearly visible today. Sometimes when Iook down at my arm, it looks like it's smiling back at me. n n Side note: I vividly remember seeing not blood, but something yellow spurting from the wound, though no one else has ever been able to confirm this.
