nah idk bc he was enjoying killing the paradis eldians too much... he was legit having fun tossing rocks at them and made it a whole competitive thing lol.. with the owl it was believable bc we never saw him enjoy killing eldians but v different from zeke. i lowkey think he's not on marley on paradis's side.. he's using the paradis ppl rn to fulfill his own goal (and yelena is def on his side aka she will stick with him when zeke is done using the paradis eldians. that quote "we will dine at the same table again" was too ominous lol im sure their plan is already set into motion) but idk what that goal could be lol

my heart broke when nicolo was getting beat up just for grieving in front of sasha's grave. He literally fed her every day and sasha's ideal husband is someone who would feed her well and it's implied they liked each other or were together so it's just so sad. can't wait for next week to get more of the jeager brothers and more mikasa

This ep is just a reminder that being in war is nothing as simple as just killing your enemies in order to win. There are a lot of factors that goes into play such as both sides facing casualties, how it could affect those who are uninvolved, and what kind of person you turn into afterwards. You can see most of the Paradis group, especially Armin, are contemplating about how war is changing them on a fundamental level but Eren sees it as a necessary evil and is willing to play the role of the devil for his people.
