It's a Japanese superstition that when you sneeze it means someone is talking about you. You usually see it abused for "comic relief" in creatively bankrupt anime that can't come up with any original humor, but sometimes it finds its way out of that due to anime staff struggling to think of ways to fill time to fit scenes to commercial breaks and such properly. And you will definitely see it in every single anime about high school ever. You basically never see it in anime that are going for a super serious realism feel, and you never see it in the middle of serious moments (unless it's a ridiculously trash anime, but I can count the number of times I've seen that happen on one hand, even after sitting through over a thousand anime, the majority of them absolute trash).

It has been going too slow that is for sure. Especially the episode before this most recent one they dragged the last 5 minutes out super hard. I am hyped for the stuff we are getting into though. Not gonna spoil obviously.
